Description

Aqua Master Tools - Replacement Substrate & Liquid EC Electrode – High-Shielding Large Pin Connection Multi-Parameter Probe

Restore original factory baseline speed, safeguard your automated liquid dosing lines, and eliminate unexpected equipment breakdown with the Aqua Master Tools Replacement Large Pin EC Electrode. Explicitly engineered as the direct plug-and-play replacement sensor for heavy-duty Aqua Master Tools digital monitors, this professional-grade probe delivers real-time, high-accuracy telemetry across four critical water metrics: electrical conductivity (EC), conductivity factor (CF), parts per million (PPM), and fluid temperature. In standard entry-level testing pens, the conductivity sensor is permanently hardwired into the chassis, forcing you to discard the entire digital instrument if a probe fails. The smart modular engineering of the Aqua Master Tools ecosystem eliminates this costly vulnerability. While conductivity elements are inherently robust and do not degrade as quickly as glass pH bulbs, they are still highly susceptible to long-term operational wear. Over multiple crop cycles, constant exposure to highly concentrated fertilizer salts and hard municipal water leads to dense limescale buildup, chemical leakage through aging seals, and cable breakage caused by plastic hardening in high-humidity cultivation rooms. When these environmental stresses cause your readings to stall or drift, this premium replacement probe allows you to simply refresh your system. Featuring a robust, high-traction **large pin connector termination**, this durable sensor slides securely into position and locks down an airtight, noise-free connection instantly, keeping your daily testing rounds perfectly accurate season after season.

Best For: Replacing aged, fractured, or scale-fouled conductivity probes on compatible Aqua Master Tools monitors, restoring sluggish multi-parameter response times, and maintaining essential backup hardware inventory for large-scale commercial greenhouses.

Key Features & Technical Advancements

  • Secure Large Pin Connection Interface: Outfitted with a heavy-duty, high-shielding multi-pin connector that establishes a rock-solid data bridge to your console, eliminating signal noise and reading fluctuations.
  • 4-in-1 Multiparameter Telemetry Array: Houses high-precision conductivity rings and a rapid-response thermal node inside a single housing to stream EC, CF, PPM, and temperature data simultaneously.
  • Full 0.0 to 19.99 mS Full-Spectrum Competency: Restores complete salt-tracking capabilities, allowing your digital monitor to register instant, real-time chemical changes in liquid fertilizers and runoff water.
  • Rugged Non-Porous Shielding Shell: Encased in a heavy-duty polymer protective guard that shields the internal sensor elements from bumps against tank walls or hard mixing equipment.
  • Watertight Sealed Cable Shielding: Engineered with a reinforced, flexible insulation jacket that resists chemical corrosion and counters the plastic hardening common in high-moisture commercial environments.
  • Low-Maintenance Modular Core Design: Minimizes expensive facility downtime by letting you replace a broken or worn sensor cord in seconds without replacing the main digital console.

Advanced Nutrient Delivery & Sensor Care Tips

  • Executing a Complete 1-Point Electronic Alignment Post-Installation: Every time you swap out a probe lead, you must re-align the meter's internal digital processor with the new sensor elements. Push the large pin connector firmly into your compatible console socket and ensure it is fully seated. Pour a small amount of fresh, unpolluted 1413 μS/cm calibration fluid into a clean plastic cup, dip the sensor tip into the liquid, and engage the automatic 1-point calibration routine. Once the screen locks in the reading, rinse the sensor with clean water before your first reservoir test.
  • Root-Zone Hydration and Substrate Coordination: Keeping your liquid feeds stable and correctly balanced protects your root zone from chemical stress and lockouts. For optimal root health and fast nutrient uptake, combine your liquid measurements with a high-porosity 70/30 blend of Coco Coir and Horticultural Perlite. To maintain consistent moisture levels across large benches, route your nutrient solution through lines pressurized by a heavy-duty Plont PPH Submersible Pump managed by an automated digital shot-timer.
  • Safe Probe Cleaning and Maintenance Routines: Unlike pH probes, the conductivity sensor elements on this large pin replacement electrode are robust metal rings that do not need to stay wet during storage. However, they must be kept totally free of fertilizer crusts, salt crystals, and oily organic residues. After completing your daily water checks, rinse the sensor under clean tap water. If you notice salt build-up or linescale, soak the tip in specialized digital probe cleaner or isopropyl alcohol for a few minutes, then scrub gently with a soft brush to restore perfect electrical contact.
  • Preventing Cable Fatigue and Plastic Hardening: In commercial greenhouse environments, high levels of ambient humidity, UV light exposure, and concentrated chemical vapors can cause standard plastic cables to become brittle, leading to micro-cracking and internal wire failure. To maximize the working lifespan of your new replacement probe cable, avoid pulling or bending the cord at sharp angles when installing it over tank lips. Routinely wipe down the length of the cord with a damp towel to remove salt spray residues, ensuring the insulation stays pliable.

Ideal For (Uses)

  • Aqua Master Tools System Refurbishment: The perfect direct replacement component for commercial cultivation facilities and home growers who need to bring a sluggish or inaccurate large-pin multi-parameter monitor system back to original factory performance.
  • Continuous Hydroponic Reservoir Analysis: Perfect for indoor facility technicians running constant daily salt-strength (EC), CF, and PPM checks across liquid fertilizer tanks, reverse osmosis loops, and drain runoff arrays.
  • Commercial Facility Spare Parts Management: An exceptional backup inventory choice for commercial greenhouse operations and vertical farms looking to eliminate unexpected downtime by keeping extra large pin conductivity probes on hand.

Shipping & Lead Times

Important Note on Availability & Shipping

Our warehouse serves as our office and logistics centre rather than a retail showroom. Because we ship from multiple locations and manage high-turnover stock, not all items are available for immediate pickup.

Lead Times:

  • In-Stock Items: Usually ready for dispatch the same day.
  • Supplier-Dependent Items: Usually take 2–8 weeks to arrive, depending on supplier availability. Products from Adloheat may take 8–12 weeks to manufacture—they are made to order in Australia by a small business, and longer lead times reflect the care put into quality.

While we strive for fast delivery, some timelines are subject to supplier availability and are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience as we source the best quality gear for your project.

Biosecurity & Interstate Shipping Restrictions

Due to strict state biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship some products to certain states and territories:

  • Potting Mixes cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA), the Northern Territory (NT), or Tasmania (TAS).
  • Seeds cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA).

Orders placed for these items to restricted states will be cancelled and refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items being ordered can lawfully be delivered to their state or territory.
