Description

Cultiv8 Tube Heaters – Energy-Efficient Ambient Climate Control

*300W On Backorder - Estimated to arrive in October 2026*

Maintaining a stable "Goldilocks zone" temperature is critical for preventing growth stunting and root-zone shock, particularly during cold winter nights or lights-off periods. The Cultiv8 Tube Heater is a professional-grade, low-wattage heating solution designed to provide consistent, gentle warmth within your grow space. Unlike bulky fan heaters that can cause localised leaf burn and rapid dehydration, these tube heaters radiate a steady heat that stabilises ambient temperatures and reduces relative humidity. With an IP55 safety rating and versatile mounting options, they are the ideal choice for protecting your crop from cold stress while simultaneously lowering the risk of mould, powdery mildew, and Botrytis.

Best For: Maintaining night-time temperatures in grow tents, preventing condensation in drying rooms, warming propagation areas, and protecting greenhouse plants from frost.

Key Benefits

  • Protection Against Cold Stress: Provides a steady thermal buffer that prevents metabolic slowdown and nutrient lockout caused by sudden temperature drops in the root zone or canopy.
  • Moisture & Disease Prevention: By subtly raising the ambient air temperature, these heaters help lower relative humidity and prevent condensation from forming on leaves, significantly reducing the threat of fungal pathogens.
  • High-Efficiency Performance: Operating at low wattages (from 60W to 300W), these units are far more cost-effective than standard space heaters for maintaining long-term, background warmth.
  • IP55 Rated Safety: Specifically built for the high-humidity environment of a grow room, featuring resistance against dust and water splashes, alongside integrated thermal protection to prevent overheating.
  • Versatile Mounting: Includes brackets for easy installation on floors or walls, allowing you to position the heat exactly where it’s needed—under benches, along tent walls, or near intake vents.
  • Precision Automated Control: Fully compatible with the Cultiv8 Heat Mat & Tube Heater Controller for automated temperature management between 20°C and 42°C.

Technical Specifications

  • Electrical Supply: 220-240V, 50Hz
  • Surface Temperature: 91°C to 96°C (During operation)
  • IP Rating: IP55 (Dust and Splash Resistant)
  • Safety Features: Integrated Thermal Cut-off Protection
  • Mounting: Floor or Wall (Mounting brackets included)

Installation & Maintenance Tips

  • Strategic Placement: Always mount the heater low to the ground. Since heat rises naturally, floor-level mounting ensures warmth circulates through the plant canopy and warms the pots before exiting through your extraction system.
  • Safety Clearances: While designed for grow room safety, the surface temperature reaches approx. 95°C. Ensure the heater is mounted at least 10cm away from tent fabric, plastic liners, or direct contact with foliage to prevent scorching.
  • Thermostatic Control: For maximum energy efficiency, plug your tube heater into a Cultiv8 Thermostat. This allows the heater to only engage when temperatures drop below your set point (e.g., 18°C), saving power during the day when lights provide sufficient heat.
  • Horizontal Mounting: For optimal convection and even heat distribution, it is highly recommended to mount the tube horizontally.

Ideal For (Uses)

  • Grow Tents & Cabinets: The perfect "lights-off" heat source to maintain stability in small to medium-sized enclosures.
  • Large Greenhouses: Utilise the 240W or 300W models to provide frost protection for sensitive tropical species during winter.
  • Propagation Areas: Keeping clones and seedlings at a steady 22°C–25°C for rapid root development in unheated garages or sheds.

Shipping & Lead Times

Important Note on Availability & Shipping

Our warehouse serves as our office and logistics centre rather than a retail showroom. Because we ship from multiple locations and manage high-turnover stock, not all items are available for immediate pickup.

Lead Times:

  • In-Stock Items: Usually ready for dispatch the same day.
  • Supplier-Dependent Items: Usually take 2–8 weeks to arrive, depending on supplier availability. Products from Adloheat may take 8–12 weeks to manufacture—they are made to order in Australia by a small business, and longer lead times reflect the care put into quality.

While we strive for fast delivery, some timelines are subject to supplier availability and are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience as we source the best quality gear for your project.

Biosecurity & Interstate Shipping Restrictions

Due to strict state biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship some products to certain states and territories:

  • Potting Mixes cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA), the Northern Territory (NT), or Tasmania (TAS).
  • Seeds cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA).

Orders placed for these items to restricted states will be cancelled and refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items being ordered can lawfully be delivered to their state or territory.
