Description

Full Diameter Bamboo Canes 3000mm x 24mm - Heavy-Duty Tree Support Canes (50 Pack Bulk Pack)

For commercial operations focused on mature orchards, permanent vineyards, and large specimen trees, the 3000mm (10ft) length is necessary to provide uncompromising vertical structural support. This specialised bulk pack of 50 Natural Bamboo Canes, featuring a heavy-duty 22mm to 24mm diameter profile, is designed as the ultimate structural anchoring solution. It ensures exceptional stability for your highest-value plantings, allowing large trees to establish quickly and securely, maximising your profitability and minimising severe wind damage.

Optimised for commercial forestry and large-scale agricultural developments, these thick-walled canes possess high structural elasticity, allowing them to flex under heavy gusts while preventing the host tree trunk from snapping or rocking at the root base. The premium thick-walled composition ensures the timber resists early splitting under hot sun exposure or deep soil moisture, guaranteeing reliable multi-season performance when loaded with dense foliar weight.

Best For: Commercial tree growers, orchard managers, viticulturists, and large-scale landscaping operations requiring the longest, thickest available natural cane for critical tasks such as structural anchoring of freestanding specimen trees (olives, almonds) and establishing permanent, high-clearance trellising systems.

Key Features:

  • Extreme 3000mm (10ft) Structural Length: This exceptional length is essential for providing continuous support to the tallest specimen trees and whips, ensuring the central leader remains straight and stable well above the canopy line.
  • Heavy-Duty 22/24mm Diameter Thickness: This massive structural gauge provides the maximum rigidity required to stabilise large, heavy, and freestanding trees, preventing root zone disruption during their crucial establishment phase.
  • Commercial Bulk Value (Pack of 50): Supplied in a high-volume trade pack configuration containing 50 heavy canes, streamlining stock management and ensuring cost-effectiveness for extensive multi-row infrastructure setups.
  • Cost-Effective Trellising Method: Provides a highly durable, natural material solution that offers an excellent balance between unmatched structural strength and low capital cost when setting up specialised, ultra-tall permanent support systems.
  • Consistent Full-Diameter Quality: These natural canes retain their full internal structural integrity, delivering superior column strength and excellent resistance to weathering under the heaviest crop loads.

Primary Cultivation & Field Applications

  • Commercial Orchard Anchoring: Establishing robust, long-term freestanding structural support loops for newly planted saplings of olives, almonds, avocados, and citrus varieties.
  • High-Wire Viticulture Infrastructure: Providing the primary physical anchor point for structural high-wire vineyard trellising, berry canes, or hop trellis systems.
  • Netting Enclosure Frameworks: Creating permanent, tall boundary markers or internal perimeter anchors for supporting high-clearance overhead protective exclusion netting.
  • Specimen Timber Alignment: Stabilising and training the central leader of tall ornamental tree stock during their critical first years in open field nursery blocks.

Important Shipping Notice: This commercial product is sold Ex Works (EXW). A regional delivery surcharge will be calculated and applied at checkout based upon your final destination postcode and the cumulative weight of the consignment pack.

Pro Tip & Precision Field Installation: When driving these heavy-duty 24mm bamboo canes into compacted clay subsoils, always use a dedicated manual star-picket driver or a soft-faced rubber mallet rather than a hardened steel sledgehammer. A steel hammer can easily shatter or split the hollow node structure at the top of the cane, compromising its weather resistance.

For the longest service life, orient the cane so the thickest base end is driven into the ground, and secure the tree trunk using flexible rubber tree tie webbing to allow natural trunk movement, which stimulates lateral structural wood development.

Shipping & Lead Times

Important Note on Availability & Shipping

Our warehouse serves as our office and logistics centre rather than a retail showroom. Because we ship from multiple locations and manage high-turnover stock, not all items are available for immediate pickup.

Lead Times:

  • In-Stock Items: Usually ready for dispatch the same day.
  • Supplier-Dependent Items: Usually take 2–8 weeks to arrive, depending on supplier availability. Products from Adloheat may take 8–12 weeks to manufacture—they are made to order in Australia by a small business, and longer lead times reflect the care put into quality.

While we strive for fast delivery, some timelines are subject to supplier availability and are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience as we source the best quality gear for your project.

Biosecurity & Interstate Shipping Restrictions

Due to strict state biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship some products to certain states and territories:

  • Potting Mixes cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA), the Northern Territory (NT), or Tasmania (TAS).
  • Seeds cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA).

Orders placed for these items to restricted states will be cancelled and refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items being ordered can lawfully be delivered to their state or territory.
