Hailea - ACO Series Magnetic Air Pumps – Commercial-Grade Heavy-Duty Aeration Hubs
Supercharge your root zone oxygenation and drive explosive plant growth with the Hailea ACO Series Magnetic Air Pumps. Engineered specifically to replace arrays of small, weak individual air pumps, these high-output units are the ultimate aeration solution for large-scale hydroponic installations, deep water culture (DWC) systems, and multi-reservoir commercial facilities. Utilizing a highly efficient electromagnetic motor configuration, the piston moves linearly to generate immense pressure and massive, continuous volumes of airflow. Built with high-grade, wear-resistant components and housed in an oil-free, heat-dissipating aluminum chassis, these rugged pumps deliver unmatched structural reliability and pure, contaminant-free air to your nutrient solutions day in and day out.
Best For: Multi-site Deep Water Culture (DWC) arrays, nutrient reservoir oxygenation, large brewing tanks for compost teas, automated hydroponic setups, and aquatic multi-tank breeding setups.
Choose Your Output Model
Select the ideal industrial capacity to match your facility requirements, active line distribution network, or reservoir volume:
| Model Variant | Total Output Air Volume | Manifold Outlets | Ideal Application Profile |
|---|---|---|---|
| ACO-208 | 2,280 L/hr (38 L/min) | 4-Way Manifold Included | Small DWC setups, multi-tub arrays, or boutique home grow tents. |
| ACO-328 | 4,200 L/hr (70 L/min) | 6-Way Manifold Included | Mid-scale multi-pot lines, medium greenhouse loops, and tea brewing. |
| ACO-009 | 6,600 L/hr (110 L/min) | 12-Way Manifold Included | Commercial hydroponic facilities, large DWC systems, and multi-row reservoirs. |
Key Features
- High-Pressure Electromagnetic Drive: The linear piston mechanism works seamlessly without complex gears or oil lubrication, converting electromagnetic energy into intense fluid pressure while drastically lowering mechanical wear.
- 100% Oil-Free Air Stream: Delivers pristine, untainted compressed oxygen straight to your root zones. Zero risk of oil mists or chemical fumes leaching into your organic or mineral nutrient solutions.
- Advanced Aluminum Dissipation Shell: Enclosed in a heavy-duty, finned aluminum alloy housing that rapidly radiates heat away from the motor core, maintaining low internal temperatures during continuous 24/7 operation.
- Multi-Port Brass & Polymer Manifolds: Each pump is bundled with a dedicated multi-way outlet splitter (ranging from 4 to 12 ports), allowing you to run several airstones simultaneously off a single, centralized pumping hub.
- Low Energy, High Static Velocity: Engineered to hold consistent back-pressure down long distribution runs, ensuring that even airstones sitting deep at the bottom of large water tanks receive uniform air volumes.
- Resilient Structural Mounting Footprint: Outfitted with robust rubber dampening feet on the base plate to minimize physical vibration transmission against grow room floorings or shelf frameworks.

Grow Room Installation & Airflow Management Tips
- The Anti-Siphon Elevation Rule: Always mount or position your magnetic air pump on a shelf or stand that sits completely **above** the highest water line of your connected nutrient reservoirs. If the pump is positioned on the floor below water level and power drops out, water can siphon backward through the airline, ruining the internal electronics. If floor placement is mandatory, always install high-quality inline check valves.
- Managing Back-Pressure to Avoid Overheating: Avoid capping off or blocking too many outlets on the included splitter manifold. If you are generating 6,600 L/hr but only using two outlets, the severe back-pressure will cause the electromagnetic coils to run hot. If you have extra unused ports, crack them open slightly to bleed off excess air, or downsize to a lower model.
- Airstone Matching for DWC: Connect your distribution lines to high-porosity ceramic airstones or **Professor's Nutrients Air-Buds** placed on the floor of your pots or reservoirs. This breaks the high-velocity air stream into millions of micro-bubbles, dramatically expanding the surface area contact to maximize dissolved oxygen levels.
- Scheduled Filter & Piston Maintenance: Keep the pump situated in a clean, dust-free environment outside of your high-humidity grow tents if possible. Every few months, clear away any lint or dust accumulation from the air intake filter pads to ensure the pump draws clean, unrestricted ambient air.
Ideal For (Uses)
- Deep Water Culture (DWC) Systems: Flooding the root systems of heavy-feeding crops with constant oxygen, encouraging thick networks of bright white roots and preventing root die-back.
- Nutrient Reservoir Aggressive Agitation: Keeping concentrated mineral salts fully suspended and dissolved throughout massive mixing tanks, preventing nutrient stagnation or precipitation.
- Horticultural Compost Tea Brewing: Providing the massive oxygen thresholds needed to cultivate, multiply, and sustain beneficial aerobic microbes and fungi during intense 24–48 hour brewing processes.

Oversized Item Delivery Options
Since oversized items require special handling, we may need to provide a custom freight quote for your order and will contact you with an updated shipping rate.
Available options include:
✔ Delivery to your closest depot for pickup - default method
✔ Direct delivery - requires forklift on site
✔ Direct delivery with tailgate lift truck (extra fees apply)
✔ Forklift loading at our warehouse (no extra charge if you arrange your own freight)
✔ Direct truck delivery (available in Victoria)
Important Notes:
- Shipping costs vary by location and method
- Because of the forklift requirement, delivery to the nearest depot is the default option and will be the method used unless you contact us to request otherwise.

- Additional fees may apply for failed delivery attempts due to lack of appropriate unloading equipment
Let us know your preference, and we'll arrange the best solution for you!
Important Note on Availability & Shipping
Our warehouse serves as our office and logistics centre rather than a retail showroom. Because we ship from multiple locations and manage high-turnover stock, not all items are available for immediate pickup.
Lead Times:
- In-Stock Items: Usually ready for dispatch the same day.
- Supplier-Dependent Items: Usually take 2–8 weeks to arrive, depending on supplier availability. Products from Adloheat may take 8–12 weeks to manufacture—they are made to order in Australia by a small business, and longer lead times reflect the care put into quality.
While we strive for fast delivery, some timelines are subject to supplier availability and are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience as we source the best quality gear for your project.
Biosecurity & Interstate Shipping Restrictions
Due to strict state biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship some products to certain states and territories:
- Potting Mixes cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA), the Northern Territory (NT), or Tasmania (TAS).
- Seeds cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA).
Orders placed for these items to restricted states will be cancelled and refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items being ordered can lawfully be delivered to their state or territory.
