Description

Heavy-Duty Poly End Plugs – Professional Irrigation Line Terminators (Bag of 20)

Maintaining consistent system pressure requires a secure and permanent seal at the end of every irrigation run. Our Heavy-Duty Poly End Plugs are the professional solution for capping off 13mm, 19mm, and 25mm poly pipe "spines" or lateral distribution lines. Engineered with aggressive, high-tensile barbs, these plugs provide a high-pressure "bite" that prevents the cap from blowing out during pump cycles. Whether you are finishing a manifold or temporarily sealing a zone during maintenance, these horticultural-grade terminators ensure your nutrient solution stays in the lines and reaches your plants with maximum efficiency.

Best For: Terminating main supply lines, sealing off unused manifold ports, and maintaining system pressure in low-density poly and drip-tube networks.

Key Features

  • High-Pressure Barbed Grip: Features precision-moulded barbs that lock into the pipe wall, providing superior blow-out resistance and a permanent, leak-proof seal without the need for adhesives.
  • Industrial UV-Stabilisation: Manufactured from premium-grade polymers designed to resist the degrading effects of intense HID/LED grow lighting and the Australian sun, ensuring the plugs won't become brittle over time.
  • Chemical & Salt Resistant: Built to handle the continuous flow of concentrated mineral salts and pH adjusters common in hydroponic systems without corroding or leaching harmful chemicals.
  • Opaque Algae Prevention: The deep black pigmentation ensures total light blockage at the end of the line, preventing algae from colonising the dead-end of the pipe and protecting your drippers from organic blockages.
  • Installation-Grade Reliability: Trusted by professional irrigation installers for their durability and consistent performance in both commercial and hobbyist environments.
  • Value 20-Piece Bulk Pack: Provides an ample supply for outfitting large facilities or multiple grow zones where numerous line terminations are required.

Available Sizes

  • 13mm End Plug (Bag of 20): Ideal for terminating secondary feeder lines and smaller hobbyist irrigation runs.
  • 19mm End Plug (Bag of 20): The versatile choice for capping off medium-flow distribution lines and manifolds.
  • 25mm End Plug (Bag of 20): The professional choice for high-volume main supply "spines" and commercial-scale lateral pipes.

Specifications

  • Material: High-Impact Polypropylene / ABS
  • Fitting Type: Barbed Compression End Plug
  • Compatibility: Low-Density Poly Pipe (LDPE) and Drip Tube
  • Quantity: 20 Pieces per Bag
  • Colour: Black (Light-Proof)

Installation & Maintenance Tips

  • Thermal Seating: For the easiest installation and the tightest possible seal, dip the end of the poly pipe in a cup of hot water for 15 seconds to soften it. This allows the end plug to slide in fully and "shrink-wrap" around the barbs as it cools.
  • Clean Cuts: Use a sharp pipe cutter to ensure a square, flat cut on the pipe end. This allows the shoulder of the plug to sit flush against the pipe, ensuring a professional finish and maximum leak protection.
  • Flushing Access: While these plugs provide a permanent seal, they can be removed if necessary. If you need to flush your lines to remove mineral build-up, use these plugs at the end of your runs for easy access to the system interior during seasonal maintenance.

Ideal For (Uses)

  • Manifold Termination: Capping off the end of a 19mm or 25mm "header" pipe to force water through the side-outlets.
  • Zone Management: Quickly sealing off an irrigation line for a grow table that is currently out of rotation.
  • System Expansion: Providing a secure stop-point that can be easily removed later if you decide to extend your irrigation network further.

Shipping & Lead Times

Important Note on Availability & Shipping

Our warehouse serves as our office and logistics centre rather than a retail showroom. Because we ship from multiple locations and manage high-turnover stock, not all items are available for immediate pickup.

Lead Times:

  • In-Stock Items: Usually ready for dispatch the same day.
  • Supplier-Dependent Items: Usually take 2–8 weeks to arrive, depending on supplier availability. Products from Adloheat may take 8–12 weeks to manufacture—they are made to order in Australia by a small business, and longer lead times reflect the care put into quality.

While we strive for fast delivery, some timelines are subject to supplier availability and are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience as we source the best quality gear for your project.

Biosecurity & Interstate Shipping Restrictions

Due to strict state biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship some products to certain states and territories:

  • Potting Mixes cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA), the Northern Territory (NT), or Tasmania (TAS).
  • Seeds cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA).

Orders placed for these items to restricted states will be cancelled and refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items being ordered can lawfully be delivered to their state or territory.
