Description

Heavy-Duty Poly Reducing Tees – Precision Line Branching & Transitions (Bag of 20)

Maintaining optimal system pressure while branching your irrigation network requires high-quality, reliable fittings. Our Heavy-Duty Poly Reducing Tees are the professional solution for splitting a main supply line into a smaller secondary line, or for adding a drip tube extension to an existing lateral poly pipe. Specifically engineered for Low-Density Poly (LDPE) and Drip Tube, these fittings provide a robust, leak-proof 3-way junction. Trusted by professional installers, these reducing tees allow you to transition seamlessly from high-volume main pipes to targeted distribution lines, ensuring every plant receives the precise nutrient flow it requires without the need for multiple separate adapters.

Best For: Branching secondary lines from main supply pipes, connecting 13mm drip tube to 19mm or 25mm lateral lines, and building custom multi-zone manifold systems.

Key Features

  • Precision-Tapered Barbs: Features sharp, aggressive barbs on all three outlets, ensuring a permanent, high-pressure grip on both the larger main line and the smaller branch line simultaneously.
  • Industrial UV-Stabilisation: Manufactured from premium-grade polymers designed to withstand the intense radiation of the Australian sun and high-intensity indoor grow lights without becoming brittle or cracking.
  • Streamlined Flow Transition: The internal bore is designed to minimise turbulence and pressure drop at the junction, maintaining consistent nutrient delivery even when stepping down pipe sizes.
  • Chemical & Salt Resistant: Built to handle the continuous flow of concentrated mineral salts, organic nutrients, and pH adjusters common in hydroponic reservoirs without degrading or leaching.
  • Installation-Grade Reliability: These are the same high-quality fittings used by commercial irrigation specialists, chosen for their long-term performance in demanding horticultural environments.
  • Opaque Algae Prevention: The deep black pigmentation ensures total light blockage, preventing algae from colonising the fitting and protecting your downstream emitters from organic blockages.

Available Configurations

  • 19mm - 13mm Reducing Tee (Bag of 20): The industry-standard choice for branching 13mm distribution lines or drip tube from a 19mm main lateral.
  • 25mm - 19mm Reducing Tee (Bag of 20): Ideal for commercial-scale systems stepping down from a 25mm "spine" to 19mm secondary zones.
  • 25mm - 13mm Reducing Tee (Bag of 20): Perfect for high-volume systems where 13mm feeder lines need to be tapped directly into a 25mm main supply pipe.

Specifications

  • Material: High-Impact Polypropylene / ABS
  • Fitting Type: 3-Way Barbed Reducing Tee
  • Compatibility: Low-Density Poly Pipe (LDPE) and Drip Tube
  • Quantity: 20 Pieces per Bag
  • Colour: Black (Light-Proof)

Installation & Maintenance Tips

  • Thermal Seating: For the easiest installation and the tightest seal, dip the ends of the poly pipes in a cup of hot water for 15 seconds to soften them. This allows the tee to slide on fully and "shrink-wrap" around the barbs as it cools.
  • Secure Layout: Use these tees to create professional-looking manifolds that sit flush against the edges of grow trays or garden beds, reducing tripping hazards and keeping your workspace tidy.
  • Square Cuts: Always use a sharp pipe cutter to ensure perfectly square cuts on all pipe ends. This allows the tubing to seat fully against the internal shoulders of the tee, ensuring maximum surface area for the barbs to grip.

Ideal For (Uses)

  • Manifold Construction: Building professional distribution headers that feed multiple 13mm lines from a high-flow 19mm or 25mm pump line.
  • System Upgrades: Easily tapping into an existing main run to add a new drip-line zone without redesigning the entire plumbing layout.
  • Greenhouse Fertigation: Durable enough for intensive commercial use where reliable, multi-sized line branching is required.

Shipping & Lead Times

Important Note on Availability & Shipping

Our warehouse serves as our office and logistics centre rather than a retail showroom. Because we ship from multiple locations and manage high-turnover stock, not all items are available for immediate pickup.

Lead Times:

  • In-Stock Items: Usually ready for dispatch the same day.
  • Supplier-Dependent Items: Usually take 2–8 weeks to arrive, depending on supplier availability. Products from Adloheat may take 8–12 weeks to manufacture—they are made to order in Australia by a small business, and longer lead times reflect the care put into quality.

While we strive for fast delivery, some timelines are subject to supplier availability and are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience as we source the best quality gear for your project.

Biosecurity & Interstate Shipping Restrictions

Due to strict state biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship some products to certain states and territories:

  • Potting Mixes cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA), the Northern Territory (NT), or Tasmania (TAS).
  • Seeds cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA).

Orders placed for these items to restricted states will be cancelled and refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items being ordered can lawfully be delivered to their state or territory.
