Hortitech - 2-Wheel Nursery Trolley - Commercial Galvanised Flatbed Barrow
Streamline stock transport and heavy bulk handling across your facility with the Hortitech 2-Wheel Nursery Trolley. Designed, engineered, and fabricated in-house by Hortitech, this premium commercial flatbed barrow is built to withstand the punishing, day-in, day-out workloads of production nurseries, wholesale growing yards, and industrial landscape suppliers. Featuring a spacious, flat-surface wire-mesh deck, this trolley provides ample room for stable layouts of propagation trays, heavy soil sacks, and advanced potted trees. Available in both a nimble 120cm length and a maximum-capacity 180cm length, you can select the perfect footprint to match your greenhouse aisle width and workflow needs.
To ensure maximum operational longevity in wet environments, each trolley is built with heavy-gauge structural steel tubing and treated with a premium hot-dip galvanised and electrogalvanised zinc-coated finish. This robust barrier provides total protection against rust, water pooling, liquid fertilisers, and soil acids. Equipped with dual central-balanced all-terrain pneumatic tyres mounted on reinforced high-visibility red steel rims, this trolley distributes heavy loads evenly—giving staff a low-resistance, ergonomically superior pushing and steering experience over deep gravel rows, mud, and unsealed nursery tracks.
Best For: Production nurseries, wholesale plant distributors, landscape supply yards, commercial turf farms, and professional growers requiring an industrial-grade, tip-resistant flatbed cart to handle bulk stock handling and tray distribution down narrow or extended greenhouse aisles.
Key Features:
- Heavy-Gauge Australian Fabrication: Hand-welded in-house using heavy-walled structural steel framing that completely resists bending or twisting under massive commercial payloads.
- Dual Zinc Anti-Corrosion Defense: Treated with a specialised hot-dip galvanised and electrogalvanised zinc coating, guaranteeing maximum rust immunity in humid greenhouses and outdoor growing bays.
- Debris-Shedding Open Mesh Deck: The open wire-mesh floor prevents water pooling and allows loose potting media, wet sand, and plant foliage to fall straight through, keeping the deck clean and functional.
- Perimeter Load-Securing Lip: Engineered with a raised structural perimeter safety rail to lock propagation flats, seedling trays, and pots firmly in place while navigating uneven ground.
- All-Terrain Dual Wheel Stability: Outfitted with two heavy-duty pneumatic tyres on steel hubs, offering exceptional side-to-side stability that completely eliminates the tipping hazards associated with traditional single-wheel wheelbarrows.
- Ergonomic Dual Handle Steer: Extended twin barrow handles fitted with heavy-duty comfort rubber grips ensure low-strain leverage, effortless turning circles, and complete control when fully loaded.

Available Size Extensions & Footprints
- 120cm Length Variant (120cm L x 61cm W Deck): The nimbler standard footprint, offering exceptional steering and low turning radiuses. Perfectly optimised for navigating tight greenhouse bays, sharp display corners, and narrow propagation walking grids.
- 180cm Length Variant (180cm L x 61cm W Deck): Maximum-capacity commercial flatbed layout. Built specifically for long warehouse runs, mass wholesale order picking, and transporting high-volume runs of tubes or deep cell trays in a single trip.
Ideal For:
- Wholesale Stock Orders & Dispatch: Allowing picking teams to load large blocks of tube stock, advanced pots, or nursery flats out of the growing bays and roll them safely to the packing area.
- Transporting Heavy Bulk Media: Perfect for carrying massive wet bags of premium potting soil, bulk coco blocks, fertilising drums, or heavy tools across tight rows without tearing up the walking paths.
- Greenhouse Row Manoeuverability: The optimised tracker width fits comfortably down standard greenhouse lanes, walking grids, and production benches.
Usage Tip: When working on soft sand, mud, or unsealed tracks, ensure your tyre pressures are slightly lowered to widen the footprints. This prevents the trolley from sinking into loose substrate when fully loaded with wet pots, keeping your forward tracking smooth, balanced, and effortless.

Important Note on Availability & Shipping
Our warehouse serves as our office and logistics centre rather than a retail showroom. Because we ship from multiple locations and manage high-turnover stock, not all items are available for immediate pickup.
Lead Times:
- In-Stock Items: Usually ready for dispatch the same day.
- Supplier-Dependent Items: Usually take 2–8 weeks to arrive, depending on supplier availability. Products from Adloheat may take 8–12 weeks to manufacture—they are made to order in Australia by a small business, and longer lead times reflect the care put into quality.
While we strive for fast delivery, some timelines are subject to supplier availability and are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience as we source the best quality gear for your project.
Biosecurity & Interstate Shipping Restrictions
Due to strict state biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship some products to certain states and territories:
- Potting Mixes cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA), the Northern Territory (NT), or Tasmania (TAS).
- Seeds cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA).
Orders placed for these items to restricted states will be cancelled and refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items being ordered can lawfully be delivered to their state or territory.
