Description

In-Line Irrigation Filters – Precision Protection for Micro-Emitters (Bag of 10)

The longevity of a precision irrigation system depends entirely on the cleanliness of the nutrient solution. Our In-Line Filters are the first line of defence against debris, sediment, and organic particles that can easily clog micro-sprays, micro-sprinklers, and drippers. Designed specifically for use with Low-Density Poly (LDPE) pipe, these filters ensure that only clean, filtered water reaches your individual plant sites. By preventing blockages at the source, you eliminate "dry spots" in your grow room and reduce the time spent on troubleshooting and manual emitter maintenance, ensuring your crop receives a consistent and uninterrupted feed cycle.

Best For: Protecting micro-irrigation networks, preventing blockages in 4mm feeder lines, and ensuring the smooth operation of precision drip and spray emitters.

Key Features

  • High-Efficiency Particulate Filtering: Effectively traps fine sediment and debris before it can enter smaller lateral lines, protecting the delicate internal mechanisms of micro-fittings and Hydro Halos.
  • Dual-Barbed Connection: Engineered with aggressive, high-tensile barbs on both ends for a secure, leak-proof in-line installation that stays tight under standard system pressures.
  • UV-Stabilised Performance: Manufactured from premium, horticultural-grade polymers designed to withstand intense HID/LED grow lighting and direct sunlight without becoming brittle or cracking.
  • Straight-Through Design: Optimized for low-density poly systems to provide essential filtration with minimal impact on flow rate, maintaining the head pressure required for consistent emitter performance.
  • Opaque Algae Prevention: The deep black pigmentation blocks 100% of light penetration, preventing algae from colonising the filter housing and protecting your downstream lines from organic contamination.
  • Low-Maintenance Reliability: A robust, non-corrosive solution for protecting automated fertigation systems from the mineral salts and sediment found in many nutrient reservoirs.

Available Sizes

  • 13mm Inline Filter (Bag of 10): The standard choice for secondary distribution lines and smaller horticultural setups.
  • 19mm Inline Filter (Bag of 10): Ideal for medium-flow supply lines and larger grow room manifold systems.

Specifications

  • Material: High-Impact Polypropylene / UV-Resistant Polymer
  • Fitting Type: In-Line Barbed Filter
  • Compatibility: Low-Density Poly Pipe (LDPE) and Drip Tube only
  • Quantity: 10 Pieces per Bag
  • Colour: Black (Light-Proof)

Installation & Maintenance Tips

  • Upstream Placement: For maximum protection, install the filter as close to the pump or main supply valve as possible. This ensures that the entire distribution network downstream is protected from blockages.
  • Thermal Seating: For the easiest installation, dip the ends of the poly pipe in hot water for 15 seconds. This softens the pipe, allowing it to slide fully over the filter barbs for a "shrink-wrapped" seal as it cools.
  • Directional Flow: Ensure the filter is installed in the correct orientation relative to your water flow. Periodically inspect the filters during reservoir changes to check for sediment build-up and flush or replace if necessary to maintain optimal flow.

Ideal For (Uses)

  • Micro-Spray Protection: Preventing grit from clogging the fine orifices of micro-jets and 360-degree sprinklers.
  • Drip Irrigation: Maintaining uniform flow across hundreds of individual drippers in high-density multi-pot systems.
  • Propagation Trays: Ensuring that delicate misting or fogging systems remain operational during critical rooting phases.

Oversize Item Delivery

Oversized Item Delivery Options

Oversized, heavy, and structural goods ship via specialist freight. Freight is calculated at checkout from estimated packaged volumetric or physical weight. Carrier depot audits may adjust the rate — if the increase exceeds 10%, we will contact you before processing.

Available options include:

✔ Delivery to your closest depot for pickup — default method
✔ Direct delivery — requires an operational forklift on site unless Tailgate Delivery has been specifically requested and quoted (contact us — this cannot be selected at checkout)
✔ Tailgate hydraulic lift delivery — must be specifically requested; contact us for a quote (not available as a checkout option; extra fees apply; required if you do not have a forklift)
✔ Forklift loading at our warehouse (no extra charge if you arrange your own freight)
✔ Direct truck delivery (available in Victoria)

Important Notes:

  • Shipping costs vary by location and method
  • Any carton or consignment over 25–30kg (or over 200cm) must be palletised
  • Without a specifically requested and paid Tailgate Delivery quote, palletised freight requires a forklift on site — otherwise the carrier will redirect to the nearest depot
  • Bulky and oversized items cannot be delivered to a PO Box — provide a physical street address
  • Failed deliveries, locked gates, unattended sites, or incorrect business/forklift declarations may incur carrier redelivery, demurrage, and restocking fees as set out in our Terms & Conditions

Business Delivery:

  • Selecting a business/commercial delivery rate warrants that the address has an operational forklift and certified operator during business hours
  • If the carrier cannot unload, the consignment may be redirected to a depot and secondary fees may apply
  • Additional fees may apply for failed delivery attempts due to lack of appropriate unloading equipment

See our Terms & Conditions (Article 8) for full freight and delivery rules.

Shipping & Lead Times

Important Note on Availability & Shipping

Our warehouse is a logistics hub, not a retail showroom. Listing a product online does not mean it is stored at our Thomastown warehouse — many lines ship from supplier hubs (split fulfilment may apply).

How lead times work:

  • Product page ETA: The Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) / lead-time badge shown on the product page at checkout is the agreed delivery timeframe for that order under Australian Consumer Law.
  • Metro baselines: Advertised ETAs apply to standard metropolitan zones. Regional and remote addresses may take longer and may attract surcharges.
  • Peak seasons: Orders in March–May, August–October, EOFY (June), Black Friday/Cyber Monday (November), and Christmas/New Year (December–January) may automatically add a 2–4 week buffer beyond the product page ETA.
  • Supplier-dependent / backordered items: If stock is delayed, we will notify you with a revised ETA. You then have 7 days to accept the new timeframe or cancel for a full refund.
  • Adloheat: Custom-made products from Adloheat (Pakenham, VIC) may take 4–12 weeks depending on the order.

Full fulfilment, cancellation, and freight rules are in our Terms & Conditions.

Biosecurity & Interstate Shipping Restrictions

Due to strict state biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship some products to certain states and territories:

  • Potting Mixes cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA), the Northern Territory (NT), or Tasmania (TAS).
  • Seeds cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA).

Orders placed for these items to restricted states will be cancelled and refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items being ordered can lawfully be delivered to their state or territory.
