Description

IntroGro - LED Grow Bar Heavy-Duty Link Lead – Modular Series Interconnect Power Cord

Streamline your vertical farm's electrical layout and eliminate messy, tangled cord webs with the IntroGro LED Grow Bar Heavy-Duty Link Lead. Specifically engineered to act as the structural power bridge between all IntroGro linkable fixtures, this modular interconnect cord allows cultivation crews to seamlessly daisy-chain multiple LED Grow or Bloom bars end-to-end on a single power drop. When building out high-density multi-tier nursery racks or extended propagation benches, running separate power leads from every single light fixture to a central power strip is highly inefficient and creates severe safety hazards. The IntroGro Link Lead resolves this operational bottleneck by passing stable, continuous power directly from one bar to the next, keeping your commercial facility clean, tidy, and organized. Constructed with high-grade, heavily insulated copper cores and rugged molded terminal plugs, this link lead easily handles the continuous current draw of multi-light strings up to a massive 500 Watts per electrical circuit. Built with full moisture-resistant sealing to handle the intense relative humidity of active cloning zones and foliar misting schedules, it delivers a robust, reliable, and tool-free "Plug & Play" connection that gets your customized multi-bar lighting grid up and running in seconds.

Best For: Daisy-chaining IntroGro Grow and Bloom bars, clean multi-tier shelf wire routing, expanding commercial propagation grids, and eliminating clutter in high-density vertical farms.

Key Features & Technical Advancements

  • Seamless End-to-End Fixture Interconnection: Form-fitted precisely to connect IntroGro linkable bars in a continuous series, allowing you to power long, uniform canopy rows from a single wall outlet.
  • High-Capacity 500W Electrical Rating: Features internal heavy-gauge copper conductors engineered to safely carry continuous current loads up to a combined 500 Watts per lighting circuit.
  • Moisture-Resistant Molded Terminal Plugs: Built with high-grade sealed connection boots that keep out rising humidity, ambient room condensation, and accidental water splashes.
  • Industrial Heavy-Duty Insulation Jacket: Wrapped in a rugged, chemically stable exterior jacket that resists cracking, pinching, and degradation from constant exposure to intense LED rays or nutrient sprays.
  • Instant Tool-Free Plug & Play Setup: Outfitted with keyed male-to-female quick-connect ends that lock tightly into place instantly, requiring zero splicing, tools, or custom electrical work.
  • Optimized Slack for Clean Rack Rigging: Length-proportioned perfectly to bridge neighboring fixtures on a rack tier without leaving long, dangerous loops of loose wire hanging down into the active plant canopy.

Advanced Wire Management & Substrate Safety Tips

  • Securing Interconnect Leads for Maximum Canopy Safety: When using the link leads to bridge your 95cm or 54cm light bars across vertical rack shelves, never leave the cord dangling loosely between fixtures. Use plastic mounting clips or loose zip-ties to secure the link lead flat against the shelf frame. This completely prevents wires from dropping down into your crop rows, keeping them clear of growing stems and preventing accidental snags during routing maintenance.
  • Root-Zone Hydration and Substrate Coordination: Keeping your electrical connections neatly routed along your shelf frames ensures that your floor plan or tray layout stays open and easy to access. Support your plants' vigorous vegetative growth beneath these linkable grids by potting them in breathable fabric aeration pots filled with a porous 70/30 blend of Coco Coir and Horticultural Perlite. Keep your wet-dry irrigation cycles flawlessly consistent by connecting your drip lines to a high-pressure Plont PPH Submersible Pump managed by an automated digital shot-timer.
  • Calculating Safe Wattage Thresholds Across Series Strings: While these heavy-duty link leads make it incredibly easy to snap multiple fixtures together, always cross-reference your total continuous load. Sum up the exact wattage of all your connected bars on a single run (such as combining 42W or 26W fixtures) and verify that the grand total sits safely below the maximum 500-Watt limit per circuit to maintain absolute electrical stability.
  • Setting Up Safety Shielded Drip Loops on Linked Runs: Because propagation environments run very high humidity levels and track heavy condensation, protecting your plug connections is critical. When plugging a link lead into your light bars, allow the cord to drop into a slight, loose U-shape bend right before it locks into the fixture socket. This establishes a natural "drip loop"—any stray mist or moisture tracking down the wire will pool at the bottom of the bend and drip safely away rather than running straight into your electrical terminals.

Ideal For (Uses)

  • Multi-Bar Propagation Shelf Strings: The ultimate accessory for commercial nurseries looking to daisy-chain short or long LED bars together across vertical tier shelves using a single power source.
  • High-Density Vertical Farming Arrays: Perfect for large-scale operations that need to eliminate wire clutter and minimize the total number of extension cords running to central power distribution boxes.
  • Customized Mixed-Spectrum Bench Layouts: Ideal for facility managers looking to link Grow and Bloom bars sequentially on the same racking footprint, tailoring the light output for specific crop trials.

Shipping & Lead Times

Important Note on Availability & Shipping

Our warehouse serves as our office and logistics centre rather than a retail showroom. Because we ship from multiple locations and manage high-turnover stock, not all items are available for immediate pickup.

Lead Times:

  • In-Stock Items: Usually ready for dispatch the same day.
  • Supplier-Dependent Items: Usually take 2–8 weeks to arrive, depending on supplier availability. Products from Adloheat may take 8–12 weeks to manufacture—they are made to order in Australia by a small business, and longer lead times reflect the care put into quality.

While we strive for fast delivery, some timelines are subject to supplier availability and are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience as we source the best quality gear for your project.

Biosecurity & Interstate Shipping Restrictions

Due to strict state biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship some products to certain states and territories:

  • Potting Mixes cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA), the Northern Territory (NT), or Tasmania (TAS).
  • Seeds cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA).

Orders placed for these items to restricted states will be cancelled and refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items being ordered can lawfully be delivered to their state or territory.
