Description

Lumatek - Digital Panel PLUS 2.0 (HID + LED) – Professional Dual-Signal Environment & Lighting Controller

Take absolute, centralized command over your commercial cultivation facility or intensive grow room with the Lumatek Digital Panel PLUS 2.0. Engineered as a high-performance, dual-signal digital lighting hub, this intelligent matrix provides meticulous external automation for your complete fleet of Lumatek lighting fixtures, digital ballasts, and electronic drivers. Operating across two completely independent control channels (Zone A and Zone B), the Digital Panel PLUS 2.0 acts as the central brain for your facility, allowing you to synchronize, dim, and schedule massive equipment layouts from a single clean interface. By integrating smart climate monitoring, the controller acts as a protective shield for your crops—actively tracking ambient room temps and executing automated emergency dimming or thermal safety shutdowns when HVAC systems fail. Whether you are scaling up commercial row cropping or micro-managing boutique plant layouts, this controller eliminates timers and structural contactors to deliver flawless environmental stability.

Best For: Managing mixed-technology commercial grow facilities (HID and LED), establishing automated sunrise/sunset diurnal loops, preventing catastrophic thermal crop failure, and achieving centralized layout control without heavy electrical contactor panels.

Key Features & Technical Advancements

  • Massive Dual-Signal Control Matrix: Outfitted with industrial-grade switching circuitry capable of governing up to 400 high-intensity discharge (HID) ballasts via high-speed RS485 digital signals, or up to 100 high-performance LED drivers using analog 0-10V control lines.
  • Dual-Zone Environmental Isolation: Features two fully isolated channels (Zone A and Zone B). This gives you the flexibility to run separate light cycles, custom dimming schedules, or entirely different crop varieties side-by-side in independent grow rooms or greenhouse bays.
  • Photometric Sunrise & Sunset Simulation: Programmable ramping protocols gradually simulate natural sunrise and sunset. Stepping light intensity up and down smoothly prevents sudden light shock and dramatically lessens plant stress during critical morning and evening metabolic shifts.
  • Precision Light Intensity Automation: Step-less dimming algorithms allow you to throttle output power in precise 1% increments, giving crop steering technicians the power to match exact target PPFD metrics across shifting vegetative and reproductive growth phases.
  • Intelligent Thermal Safety Interlocks: Constantly samples ambient room conditions using dedicated temperature sensors. The controller automatically initiates responsive dimming safety counter-measures if temperatures spike, completely shutting down all connected fixtures if emergency thermal limits are breached.

Advanced Crop Steering & Integration Tips

  • Diurnal Stress Reduction & Vapour Control: Sudden light transitions cause rapid, unnatural leaf temperature spikes. By programming a 15-to-30 minute sunrise ramp on your Digital Panel PLUS 2.0, you give your plants time to open their stomata naturally. This keeps their transpiration systems in perfect equilibrium with your room's relative humidity, avoiding dew-point condensation on the leaves that can lead to fungal stagnation.
  • Thermal Dimming Sync with Automated Fluid Systems: When the controller triggers thermal safety dimming due to excessive ambient heat, your plants' water usage drops instantly. Ensure your root zones do not become water-logged during these emergency cycles by matching your watering frequency. Grow your crops in aeration fabric pots filled with a porous 70/30 blend of Coco Coir and Horticultural Perlite, and automate your drip lines using a high-pressure Plont PPH Submersible Pump connected to responsive environment controllers.
  • Optimizing PAR Photons with 1% Decrement Steering: Avoid over-saturating your plant canopy during early vegetative transitions. Instead of running your fixtures at full power and hanging them excessively high, lower the lights to their optimal canopy distance and use the controller's precise 1% dimming to dial in exact daily light integrals (DLI). This strategy reduces electrical waste while keeping internodal stack counts perfectly tight.
  • Secure Signal Line Routing: When linking up to 50 LED fixtures or 200 HID ballasts per zone line, route your 0-10V or RS485 control lines away from heavy AC power cables. Keeping the data lines isolated prevents electromagnetic interference (EMI) from distorting the signals, ensuring clean dimming and flawless timing response across your entire facility footprint.

Ideal For (Uses)

  • Multi-Zone Nursery Facility Coordination: The premier choice for facility managers running distinct vegetative rooms and flowering chambers simultaneously, allowing completely custom light schedules from one central console.
  • Commercial Mixed-Lighting Overhaul: Designed perfectly for traditional greenhouses and commercial facilities transitioning from legacy HID setups to high-efficiency LED arrays, eliminating the need to buy separate control systems.
  • Automated Crop Protection: An essential safeguard for automated craft facilities where continuous environmental monitoring and instant emergency thermal dimming are required to protect high-value botanical investments.
Oversize Item Delivery

Oversized Item Delivery Options

Since oversized items require special handling, we may need to provide a custom freight quote for your order and will contact you with an updated shipping rate.

Available options include:

✔ Delivery to your closest depot for pickup - default method
✔ Direct delivery - requires forklift on site
✔ Direct delivery with tailgate lift truck (extra fees apply)
✔ Forklift loading at our warehouse (no extra charge if you arrange your own freight)

Let us know your preference, and we'll arrange the best solution for you!

Shipping & Lead Times

Important Note on Availability & Shipping

Our warehouse serves as our office and logistics centre rather than a retail showroom. Because we ship from multiple locations and manage high-turnover stock, not all items are available for immediate pickup.

Lead Times:

  • In-Stock Items: Usually ready for dispatch the same day.
  • Supplier-Dependent Items: Usually take 2–8 weeks to arrive, depending on supplier availability. Products from Adloheat may take 8–12 weeks to manufacture—they are made to order in Australia by a small business, and longer lead times reflect the care put into quality.

While we strive for fast delivery, some timelines are subject to supplier availability and are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience as we source the best quality gear for your project.

Biosecurity & Interstate Shipping Restrictions

Due to strict state biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship some products to certain states and territories:

  • Potting Mixes cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA), the Northern Territory (NT), or Tasmania (TAS).
  • Seeds cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA).

Orders placed for these items to restricted states will be cancelled and refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items being ordered can lawfully be delivered to their state or territory.
