Installation & Maintenance Tips

• Soft-Seal Technique: If you find the micro-tubing difficult to push onto the valve barbs, dip the end of the tubing in warm water for 5 seconds. This softens the plastic, allowing the valve to slide on effortlessly for a tighter seal as it cools.
• Pressure Balancing: Use these valves to restrict flow to plants closest to your pump. By slightly closing the valves on the "near" plants, you force more pressure to the "far" plants, ensuring a uniform drip rate across the entire system.
• Routine Testing: Periodically turn the valves fully off and on to ensure the internal mechanism remains free of mineral salt build-up, especially when using heavy organic or salt-based nutrients.
