Micro Plumbing Joiners – Precision Micro-Irrigation Connectors (Bulk Bags)
Maintaining a secure, leak-free micro-irrigation network is vital for consistent nutrient delivery and the prevention of grow room spills. Our range of Micro Plumbing Joiners provides a reliable solution for connecting, extending, or repairing "spaghetti" lines and micro-tubing. Engineered for a high-pressure grip, these joiners feature sharp, well-defined barbs that ensure a watertight seal even under the frequent cycling of high-pressure automated hydroponic systems. Whether you are performing precision repairs or building custom manifolds for hundreds of plants, these horticultural-grade connectors are built to withstand the rigours of intense indoor and greenhouse environments.
Best For: Extending micro-irrigation runs, repairing punctured feeder lines, connecting micro-emitters to main distribution pipes, and building custom manifold systems.
Key Features
- High-Tensile Barbed Design: Each joiner features precision-moulded barbs that bite into the tubing, providing superior pull-out resistance and a permanent, leak-proof seal without the need for adhesives.
- UV-Stabilised Performance: Manufactured from industrial-grade polymers that resist the degrading effects of intense grow lighting and direct sunlight, ensuring the fittings won't become brittle over time.
- Chemical & Salt Resistant: Constructed to handle the continuous flow of concentrated mineral fertilisers and pH adjusters without corroding or leaching harmful chemicals into your reservoir.
- Precision Threaded Options: The threaded variants are designed for "tapping" directly into thicker-walled poly pipes (13mm, 19mm, or 25mm), allowing for clean and secure micro-line take-offs from your main supply.
- Opaque Algae Prevention: The deep black pigmentation ensures no light enters the fitting, halting algae growth at the connection point and preventing blockages in your drippers.
- Bulk 100-Piece Value: Supplied in high-count bags to ensure you have an ample supply on hand for large-scale builds, commercial facilities, and seasonal system reconfigurations.
Available Configurations
- 4mm Joiner (Bag of 100): Standard barb-to-barb connectors for 4mm micro-tubing; ideal for extending lines or repairing cuts.
- 4mm Threaded Joiner (Bag of 100): Features a threaded end for secure installation into pre-punched holes in 13mm, 19mm, or 25mm main poly pipe.
- 4mm Barb / Threaded Joiner (Bag of 100): A versatile hybrid design used for specialised manifold transitions and micro-line branching.
- 6mm Joiner (Bag of 100): High-volume micro-connectors specifically for 6mm "spaghetti" lines and high-flow dripper assemblies.
Specifications
- Material: High-Impact ABS / Polypropylene
- Colour: Black (Light-Proof)
- Fitting Type: Micro-Barb and Threaded Compression
- Quantity: 100 Pieces per Bag
- Application: Hydroponics, Aquaponics, and Precision Drip Irrigation
Installation & Maintenance Tips
- Soft-Seal Technique: If you find the micro-tubing difficult to push onto the barbs, dip the end of the tubing in warm water for 10 seconds. This softens the plastic for an easier fit and a tighter seal once it cools.
- Clean Tapping: When using threaded joiners, use a dedicated 3mm or 4mm punch tool to create a clean, circular hole in your main supply line. Screw the joiner in firmly to ensure the threads create their own watertight path.
- Routine Inspection: During your weekly reservoir change, do a quick visual check of your joiners. Look for any mineral salt crusting (white residue), which can indicate a loose connection that needs reseating.
Ideal For (Uses)
- Manifold Construction: Tapping dozens of 4mm feeder lines into a single 25mm "spine" for large-scale top-feed systems.
- Dripper Extensions: Easily increasing the length of your feeder lines as your plants grow and require more spacing.
- Emergency Repair Kits: An essential bulk item to keep in the grow room for fixing accidental damage from pruning shears or equipment movement.

Important Note on Availability & Shipping
Our warehouse serves as our office and logistics centre rather than a retail showroom. Because we ship from multiple locations and manage high-turnover stock, not all items are available for immediate pickup.
Lead Times:
- In-Stock Items: Usually ready for dispatch the same day.
- Supplier-Dependent Items: Usually take 2–8 weeks to arrive, depending on supplier availability. Products from Adloheat may take 8–12 weeks to manufacture—they are made to order in Australia by a small business, and longer lead times reflect the care put into quality.
While we strive for fast delivery, some timelines are subject to supplier availability and are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience as we source the best quality gear for your project.
Biosecurity & Interstate Shipping Restrictions
Due to strict state biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship some products to certain states and territories:
- Potting Mixes cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA), the Northern Territory (NT), or Tasmania (TAS).
- Seeds cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA).
Orders placed for these items to restricted states will be cancelled and refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items being ordered can lawfully be delivered to their state or territory.
