Description

Mojo Cow - PS-1 Interconnective Daisy-Chain Link Cable – Pass-Through Power Jumper Cord for Modular Propagation Light Kits (30cm & 50cm Options)

Streamline your vertical nursery wiring, eliminate messy power strips, and build customized multi-bar crop layouts with the Mojo Cow PS-1 Interconnective Daisy-Chain Link Cable. Engineered as the vital electrical bridge for the modular Mojo Cow horticultural ecosystem, this premium pass-through jumper cord allows you to easily join multiple PS-1 T5 fluorescent or twin-bar light fixtures together in series. In dense commercial propagation environments, running separate main power cords for every individual light bar creates cluttered workspaces and increases electrical failure risks. The Mojo Cow system solves this issue by enabling up to 8 separate lighting modules to be run in a continuous loop off a single 240-Volt utility line using these specialized links. Built with high-conductivity copper wiring and wrapped in a flexible, moisture-resistant protective insulation jacket, these cords ensure safe, steady voltage transfer from one fixture to the next without performance drops. To accommodate diverse racking systems and custom light spreads, Mojo Cow offers this essential link cable in two functional lengths: the 30cm Link Cable ($0.80), which provides the perfect amount of slack for close, side-by-side mounting on specialized multi-light frames; and the 50cm Link Cable ($1.40), which offers the extra reach needed to bridge wider spacing between lamps or span across separate vertical shelving levels. Available with tiered volume discounts for commercial facility outfitting, these plug-and-play jumper cords make it simple to scale up your propagation footprint as your nursery benches expand.

Best For: Connecting multiple PS-1 fixtures in a seamless daisy-chain sequence, outfitting high-density vertical racking systems, custom lighting grid design, and replacing worn pass-through cords.

Key Features & Technical Advancements

  • Dual-Length Layout Flexibility: Available in 30cm lengths for tidy side-by-side frame setups or 50cm lengths for wider canopy spacing and bridging adjacent nursery shelves.
  • Tool-Free Plug-and-Play Assembly: Features precision-molded female and male terminal end-caps that slide smoothly and lock tightly into the built-in rear ports of your PS-1 fixtures.
  • High-Conductivity Copper Core: Engineered with heavy-duty internal copper strands capable of safely carrying the collective electrical load required to run up to 8 lamps in series.
  • Moisture-Resistant Commercial Insulation: Sealed inside a durable protective sleeve built to withstand high-humidity plant cloning rooms and accidental splashing from foliar misting arrays.
  • Streamlined Cable Optimization: Drastically reduces wire clutter across your multi-tier vertical racks, leaving you with a cleaner, safer, and highly organized cultivation work area.
  • Commercial Tier Wholesale Tiered Discounts: Lowers setup costs with scaled volume price cuts, offering significant infrastructure savings when outfitting massive commercial clone facilities.

Advanced Cable Management & Substrate Control Tips

  • Setting Up Safety Drip Loops for Interconnected Jumper Cables: Because commercial cloning spaces and multi-tier nursery racks run at high humidity levels (75% to 85% RH) with active foliar misting, protecting your wiring connections is paramount. When plugging the link cable between adjacent expander modules or main units, always let the cord hang in a slight, loose downward loop between the fixtures. This forms a natural "drip loop"—any ambient room condensation or stray moisture tracking down the wire will pool safely at the bottom of the bend and drip to the floor rather than running directly into active electrical terminals.
  • Root-Zone Hydration and Substrate Coordination: Maintaining steady, uninterrupted pass-through power ensures your young crops receive consistent lighting cycles, which drives fast plant transpiration and active cell growth. Support this early vigor by setting your clones or seedlings in specialized starter plugs or breathable fabric nursery pots filled with a light, highly porous 70/30 blend of Coco Coir and Horticultural Perlite. Ensure your wet-dry irrigation cycles stay flawlessly uniform by feeding your trays with a high-pressure Plont PPH Submersible Pump managed by an automated digital shot-timer.
  • Choosing the Right Jumper Length for Spatial Mapping: Use the two different cable lengths strategically to maintain a neat racking workspace. Use the short 30cm link cables when mounting lights side-by-side on an 8-light spine to keep lines tight and eliminate loose cord slack. Upgrade to the longer 50cm link cables if you are spacing your light bars wider apart to achieve a broad light spread over multiple outer propagation trays or when routing power down to the shelf directly below.
  • Securing and Anchoring Pass-Through Runs: For optimal facility safety, always anchor your daisy-chained link cables along the structural frame bars of your racks using heavy-duty plastic cable clips or zip-ties. Keeping your electrical interconnects elevated prevents lines from sagging into your humidity domes, drooping over plant canopies, or getting caught on equipment during routine tray maintenance and seedling harvesting.

Ideal For (Uses)

  • High-Density Vertical Propagation Racks: The ultimate cable connection option for vertical farming setups looking to build streamlined, low-profile multi-bar canopy lighting arrays without wire tangling.
  • Custom Spectral Blending Arrays: Perfect for commercial growers who want to link separate White daylight and Purple actinic light modules together in a single loop to create tailored, mixed-spectrum nursery rows.
  • Scalable Nursery Infrastructure Expansions: An exceptional component choice for plant propagation and microgreen facilities looking to expand their production footprints cost-effectively using bulk, modular parts.

Shipping & Lead Times

Important Note on Availability & Shipping

Our warehouse serves as our office and logistics centre rather than a retail showroom. Because we ship from multiple locations and manage high-turnover stock, not all items are available for immediate pickup.

Lead Times:

  • In-Stock Items: Usually ready for dispatch the same day.
  • Supplier-Dependent Items: Usually take 2–8 weeks to arrive, depending on supplier availability. Products from Adloheat may take 8–12 weeks to manufacture—they are made to order in Australia by a small business, and longer lead times reflect the care put into quality.

While we strive for fast delivery, some timelines are subject to supplier availability and are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience as we source the best quality gear for your project.

Biosecurity & Interstate Shipping Restrictions

Due to strict state biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship some products to certain states and territories:

  • Potting Mixes cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA), the Northern Territory (NT), or Tasmania (TAS).
  • Seeds cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA).

Orders placed for these items to restricted states will be cancelled and refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items being ordered can lawfully be delivered to their state or territory.
