Mojo Cow - PS-1 Modular T5 Fluorescent Propagation System – High-Efficiency Twin Lamp Nursery Kit (White & Purple Options)
Engineered to deliver exceptional spatial uniformity and customizable spectral management across precision nursery layouts, the Mojo Cow PS-1 Modular T5 Fluorescent System stands as a highly adaptable choice for modern commercial propagation rooms and boutique growers alike. This commercial-grade fluorescent lighting fixture is built around an expandable structural chassis, supplying high-density photon delivery directly across fragile plant canopies. Each foundational PS-1 Light System kit features a pair of 24-Watt high-output T5 linear fluorescent lamps (48 Watts total system power draw), with each individual bulb nestled inside its own highly polished, high-efficiency reflector channel. By isolating each lamp within a specialized reflective curve, the PS-1 limits internal light trapping and maximizes directional downward reflection, driving light energy deep into your trays. To meet the varying demands of early crop cycles, Mojo Cow offers this system in two distinct spectral styles: the White Lamp configuration ($42.40), which delivers a crisp, full-spectrum daylight profile optimized for explosive seedling growth and early leafy vegetative development; and the Purple Lamp configuration ($44.40), which supplies a targeted, high-actinic waveband profile engineered to accelerate root initiation and minimize stretching in fragile unrooted clones. Built for seamless facility scaling, the PS-1 utilizes an intuitive pass-through modular architecture. The initial fixture connects directly into a standard 240-Volt utility line, while additional lights can be daisy-chained in series by plugging them into the integrated rear sockets using heavy-duty connection cables. Supporting a maximum load of up to 8 lamps per single electrical circuit, this flexible system allows cultivators to lock fixtures side-by-side for dense multi-tier shelving or space them apart to provide custom lighting spreads tailored to your specific environment.
Best For: Multi-tier commercial cloning racks, customizable seedling propagation tables, high-density microgreen cultivation systems, and flexible, low-heat mixed-spectrum nursery setups.
Key Features & Technical Advancements
- Dual-Spectrum Tailored Variations: Available in White Lamp daylight spectrums for vigorous vegetative growth, or Purple Lamp actinic spectrums to trigger ultra-fast root development in fresh cuttings.
- Individual High-Efficiency Reflectors: Houses each 24-Watt high-output T5 bulb in its own optimized reflector channel, redirecting lateral stray light downward to double effective canopy intensity.
- Modular Expansion Frame Architecture: Designed to grow with your facility; add specialized 'Expander Modules' to the structural frames to quickly increase or decrease lamp count as crop requirements change.
- 8-Lamp Pass-Through Daisy Chaining: Runs up to 8 lamps in a single, continuous electrical loop off a single 240V socket, cleaning up grow room wiring and maximizing shelving outlet space.
- Fully Adjustable Mechanical Layouts: Offers complete physical flexibility; mount your T5 lamps side-by-side for intense, concentrated photon grids, or space them wide to uniform cover expansive multi-tray benches.
- Commercial Tier Wholesale Tiered Pricing: Optimized for large-scale operations with tiered bulk discounts, lowering setup costs when outfitting multi-shelf vertical racks in larger quantities.

Advanced T5 Nursery Management & Substrate Control Tips
- Optimizing Fluorescent Hang Heights and Structural Spacing: Because the Mojo Cow PS-1 fluorescent system runs incredibly cool, it can be positioned extremely close to young plants without risking leaf scorch. Hang the fixtures 10cm to 20cm directly above your humidity domes or propagation trays. This close spacing ensures your seedlings and clones receive high-intensity light, completely preventing them from stretching or growing weak, spindly stems.
- Root-Zone Hydration and Substrate Coordination: Fragile cuttings and unrooted clones require a highly porous, airy substrate that retains uniform moisture while allowing plenty of oxygen to reach developing roots. Support fast early root initiation by setting your plants in specialized starter plugs or breathable fabric nursery pots filled with a light, highly porous 70/30 blend of Coco Coir and Horticultural Perlite. Ensure your moisture levels stay flawlessly uniform by feeding your trays with a high-pressure Plont PPH Submersible Pump managed by an automated digital shot-timer.
- Configuring Mixed-Spectrum Modular Arrays: Take full advantage of the PS-1's modular expander frames and daisy-chain system by mixing White and Purple lamps across your propagation shelves. For general seedling growth, run all White lamps to mimic bright daylight. When rooting tough woody clones, link Purple lamps into the sequence to deliver high-actinic wavelengths that accelerate root development. Keep all interconnecting link cables clipped tightly to your racks to prevent cords from drooping into water channels.
- Setting Up Safety Drip Loops in High-Humidity Environments: Because plant propagation tents and commercial nursery rooms operate at high humidity levels (75% to 85% RH) to keep clones hydrated, electrical safety is paramount. When routing your 240V power lines and modular link cables from the fixtures back to your wall sockets, always ensure the cords drop into a loose, shallow U-shape bend right before they plug in. This forms a natural "drip loop"—any ambient room condensation or stray spray tracking down the wire will pool safely at the bottom of the bend and drip to the floor rather than running directly into active electrical connections.
Ideal For (Uses)
- Multi-Tier Commercial Propagation Shelving: The ultimate option for indoor vertical nurseries looking for a highly customisable, low-profile T5 system that maximizes vertical space across tight shelf arrays.
- High-Success Cloning and Rooting Systems: Perfect for cultivators who use specialized humidity domes and need targeted Purple light options to prompt fast, aggressive root development on fresh cuttings.
- Commercial Microgreen and Seedling Benches: An exceptional system for commercial salad and herb farms requiring dependable, uniform White daylight spectrums to raise uniform, crisp crops before transplanting.

Important Note on Availability & Shipping
Our warehouse serves as our office and logistics centre rather than a retail showroom. Because we ship from multiple locations and manage high-turnover stock, not all items are available for immediate pickup.
Lead Times:
- In-Stock Items: Usually ready for dispatch the same day.
- Supplier-Dependent Items: Usually take 2–8 weeks to arrive, depending on supplier availability. Products from Adloheat may take 8–12 weeks to manufacture—they are made to order in Australia by a small business, and longer lead times reflect the care put into quality.
While we strive for fast delivery, some timelines are subject to supplier availability and are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience as we source the best quality gear for your project.
Biosecurity & Interstate Shipping Restrictions
Due to strict state biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship some products to certain states and territories:
- Potting Mixes cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA), the Northern Territory (NT), or Tasmania (TAS).
- Seeds cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA).
Orders placed for these items to restricted states will be cancelled and refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items being ordered can lawfully be delivered to their state or territory.
