Mojo Cow - PS-1 Replacement T5 Fluorescent Linear Lamps – Professional Horticultural Nursery Bulbs (White & Purple Wavebands)
Maintain peak photosynthetic photon delivery, protect your early yield metrics, and ensure unbroken production cycles across your nursery racks with the Mojo Cow PS-1 Replacement T5 Fluorescent Linear Lamps. Precision-engineered as the direct structural and electrical replacement bulb for the modular Mojo Cow PS-1 lighting system, these high-output 24-Watt linear fluorescent lamps are manufactured to strict commercial horticultural tolerances. Standard consumer-grade fluorescent tubes suffer from rapid lumen depreciation and spectral shifting, which can lead to slowed root development and weak, leggy plant growth. The Mojo Cow replacement series resolves this issue by utilising premium internal phosphors and high-purity glass tubing designed to maintain optimal spectral stability and intense photon output over thousands of continuous run-time hours.
To give commercial nursery managers and vertical indoor farms complete control over their plant growth stages, these replacement lamps are offered in two highly targeted waveband profiles. The White Replacement Lamp projects a crisp, high-intensity full daylight spectrum optimised to drive explosive vegetative stacking, thick stem growth, and rich chlorophyll production in seedlings and early vegetative plants. Conversely, the Purple Replacement Lamp delivers a concentrated, high-actinic spectral curve specifically formulated to accelerate early root cell division and minimise stem stretching in fresh, delicate cuttings. Built with standard high-output T5 pin terminals, these bulbs slip easily into any existing PS-1 main fixture or expander module socket, featuring an efficient low-heat operational footprint that allows close canopy placement without risk of leaf scorch.
Best For: Routine seasonal bulb maintenance in PS-1 fixtures, renewing degraded nursery light spectrums, custom spectral tailoring on multi-tier shelves, and high-volume commercial propagation retrofits.
Key Features & Technical Advancements:
- High-Purity Horticultural Phosphors: Formulated with premium gas and phosphor blends that resist early degradation, ensuring stable colour output and high photon efficiency over long lighting cycles.
- Dual-Spectrum Tailored Variations: Choose from White daylight tubes to promote rapid vegetative shoot growth or Purple actinic tubes to supply the precise light triggers needed for rapid rooting.
- Low-Thermal Close Canopy Operation: Generates minimal radiant heat, allowing you to position the bulbs close to young seedlings or humidity domes to maximise light absorption without risking leaf scorch.
- Precision T5 High-Output Pin Terminals: Engineered with standard, heavy-duty contact pins that slide smoothly and lock tightly into all PS-1 main frames and expander modules.
- Stable Luminous Output: Minimises light drop-off over months of heavy use, ensuring young clones receive consistent light levels from the day they are cut to the day they are transplanted.
- Commercial Tier Fleet Support: Standardised dimensions and electrical specifications make it simple for large-scale operators to perform scheduled, facility-wide bulb swaps to keep their cloning lines performing at peak efficiency.

Advanced T5 Nursery Management & Substrate Control Tips
- Optimising Hang Heights with Fresh Replacement Bulbs: Fresh T5 fluorescent lamps output their highest photon intensity during their first few weeks of operation. When replacing old bulbs with fresh Mojo Cow PS-1 lamps, consider raising your fixtures slightly to 20cm to 25cm above your young starts for the first few days. Once your seedlings or cuttings adjust to the renewed light intensity, lower the fixtures back down to 10cm to 15cm above your trays to lock in rapid root development and prevent stem stretching.
- Root-Zone Hydration and Substrate Coordination: Maintaining intense, stable light levels with fresh replacement lamps drives fast plant transpiration and active root cell growth. Support this early vigour by setting your clones or seedlings in specialised starter plugs or breathable fabric nursery pots filled with a light, highly porous 70/30 blend of Coco Coir and Horticultural Perlite. Ensure your wet-dry irrigation cycles stay flawlessly uniform by feeding your trays with a high-pressure submersible pump managed by an automated digital shot-timer.
- Executing Scheduled Rotations and Spectral Blending: For peak facility efficiency, do not wait for your fluorescent tubes to burn out completely before replacing them. Swap out your lamps every 10 to 12 months to avoid the natural drop in light output that happens over time. Use this maintenance window to customise your spectrum by blending fresh White and Purple replacement lamps across your multi-light spines, ensuring your cloning shelves receive the perfect mix of daylight and root-stimulating actinic wavebands.
- Safe Bulb Handling and Drip Loop Wiring Maintenance: When installing fresh linear tubes, always hold the lamps by their glass bodies with clean, dry hands or gloves to keep skin oils off the glass, which can create hot spots and shorten bulb life. At the same time, check your wiring setup and ensure the main power lines drop into a loose, shallow U-shape bend right before they connect to the fixtures. This forms a natural drip loop; any ambient room moisture or stray spray from cloning domes will pool safely at the bottom of the bend and drip to the floor rather than running directly into your active electrical connections.
Primary Spraying & Cultivation Applications
- Routine Commercial Facility Maintenance: The ultimate replacement option for vertical farms and commercial nurseries that need a steady supply of high-output, reliable T5 lamps to refresh worn-out bulbs across massive shelving racks.
- Targeted Spectral Tuning Shifts: Perfect for indoor cultivators looking to quickly swap out existing bulbs for specialised White daylight or Purple actinic wavebands to match a new crop variety or changing growth phase.
- High-Success Plant Cloning Operations: An exceptional replacement tube choice for growers using high-humidity propagation setups who depend on intense, stable light to maintain excellent rooting success rates cycle after cycle.

Important Note on Availability & Shipping
Our warehouse serves as our office and logistics centre rather than a retail showroom. Because we ship from multiple locations and manage high-turnover stock, not all items are available for immediate pickup.
Lead Times:
- In-Stock Items: Usually ready for dispatch the same day.
- Supplier-Dependent Items: Usually take 2–8 weeks to arrive, depending on supplier availability. Products from Adloheat may take 8–12 weeks to manufacture—they are made to order in Australia by a small business, and longer lead times reflect the care put into quality.
While we strive for fast delivery, some timelines are subject to supplier availability and are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience as we source the best quality gear for your project.
Biosecurity & Interstate Shipping Restrictions
Due to strict state biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship some products to certain states and territories:
- Potting Mixes cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA), the Northern Territory (NT), or Tasmania (TAS).
- Seeds cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA).
Orders placed for these items to restricted states will be cancelled and refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items being ordered can lawfully be delivered to their state or territory.
