Poly Elbows – Professional 90-Degree Irrigation Turns (Bag of 20)
Achieving a clean, efficient irrigation layout requires the ability to navigate corners without compromising water pressure. Our Poly Elbows are the professional solution for creating sharp, 90-degree turns in your low-density poly pipe (LDPE) or drip tube network. While poly pipe offers some flexibility, forcing it into a right-angle bend without a dedicated fitting will cause the pipe to kink, leading to restricted flow and potential pump strain. These high-quality fittings are the same industry-standard components used in professional installations, ensuring your hydroponic or garden irrigation system remains leak-free and fully operational under high-frequency watering schedules.
Best For: Navigating tight corners in grow rooms, routing main supply lines around garden beds, and preventing pipe kinks in low-density poly and drip tube installations.
Key Features
- Kink-Prevention Technology: Provides a rigid 90-degree internal path that maintains a constant diameter through the turn, eliminating the flow restrictions and "hot spots" caused by collapsed or bent tubing.
- High-Pressure Barbed Grip: Engineered with aggressive, well-defined barbs that bite deeply into the pipe wall, providing superior pull-out resistance and a permanent, watertight seal.
- Industrial UV-Stabilisation: Manufactured from premium-grade polymers designed to withstand the intense radiation of Australian sun and indoor grow lights without becoming brittle or cracking.
- Installation-Grade Reliability: These are the same fittings trusted by professional irrigation installers for their durability and consistent performance in commercial environments.
- Chemical & Salt Resistant: Built to handle the continuous flow of concentrated mineral salts and pH adjusters common in hydroponic reservoirs without degrading or leaching.
- Opaque Algae Prevention: The deep black pigmentation ensures total light blockage, preventing algae from colonising the fitting and protecting your downstream emitters from organic blockages.
Available Sizes
- 13mm Poly Elbow (Bag of 20): The standard size for secondary distribution lines and hobbyist irrigation setups.
- 19mm Poly Elbow (Bag of 20): The versatile choice for medium-flow main lines and grow room manifold systems.
- 25mm Poly Elbow (Bag of 20): The professional choice for high-volume main supply lines and commercial irrigation "spines."

Installation & Maintenance Tips
- Thermal Seating: For the easiest installation and the tightest seal, dip the end of the poly pipe in a cup of hot water for 15 seconds to soften it. This allows the elbow to slide on fully and "shrink-wrap" around the barbs as it cools.
- Square Cuts: Use a sharp pipe cutter to ensure a perfectly square cut. A flat pipe end allows the tubing to seat fully against the center shoulder of the elbow, providing maximum surface contact for the barbs.
- Secure Layout: Use elbows to route your main lines flush against walls or along the edges of grow trays. This not only looks professional but also prevents tripping hazards and accidental damage to the plumbing.
Ideal For (Uses)
- Grow Room Manifolds: Building tidy, right-angled header pipes for multi-pot top-feed systems.
- Garden Bed Irrigation: Routing 13mm or 19mm drip tube around the perimeter of garden beds with precision.
- Reservoir Plumbing: Navigating tight spaces between nutrient tanks and grow infrastructure.

Important Note on Availability & Shipping
Our warehouse serves as our office and logistics centre rather than a retail showroom. Because we ship from multiple locations and manage high-turnover stock, not all items are available for immediate pickup.
Lead Times:
- In-Stock Items: Usually ready for dispatch the same day.
- Supplier-Dependent Items: Usually take 2–8 weeks to arrive, depending on supplier availability. Products from Adloheat may take 8–12 weeks to manufacture—they are made to order in Australia by a small business, and longer lead times reflect the care put into quality.
While we strive for fast delivery, some timelines are subject to supplier availability and are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience as we source the best quality gear for your project.
Biosecurity & Interstate Shipping Restrictions
Due to strict state biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship some products to certain states and territories:
- Potting Mixes cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA), the Northern Territory (NT), or Tasmania (TAS).
- Seeds cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA).
Orders placed for these items to restricted states will be cancelled and refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items being ordered can lawfully be delivered to their state or territory.
