Professor's Nutrients - Organic pH Up Liquid (250mL & 1L Bottles) – Premium Eco-Friendly Fluid Modifier for Safe Reservoir Alkalinity Correction
Take absolute control over your reservoir chemistry, correct rapid media acidification, and protect your living root-zone ecosystem with Professor's Nutrients Organic pH Up Fluid Modifier. Explicitly formulated to satisfy the strict requirements of organic greenhouses, premium coco coir layouts, and sustainable commercial vertical indoor farms, this natural-source liquid alkaliser is the definitive choice for raising the pH of water storage systems safely. In active, fast-growing crop cycles, fertigation water naturally trends downward in pH due to aggressive plant feeding, root acid exudation, and organic decomposition. If water chemistry drops below the optimal 5.5 to 6.5 threshold, your plants immediately suffer from nutrient lockouts, shutting down their intake of essential elements like calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus. The Professor's Nutrients solution resolves this issue beautifully. Engineered from premium, completely organic ingredients, this gentle yet highly effective modifier neutralises excessive acidity instantly upon contact. Unlike harsh synthetic alternatives that can disrupt soil physics or flash-burn sensitive root linings, this bio-friendly formulation breaks down clean, keeping your reservoir balanced without leaving toxic chemical residuals behind. Available in convenient **250mL maintenance bottles** for quick, on-the-floor diagnostics, or high-capacity **1-litre commercial jugs** to keep multi-zone facilities fully stocked through long crop cycles, this solution ensures your feeding channels remain perfectly balanced.
Best For: Adjusting large-scale pure organic water reservoirs, correcting low-pH drift in commercial nutrient tanks, balancing living soils and coco beds, and maintaining a thriving environment for beneficial microbial populations.

Advanced Reservoir Modification & Substrate Control Tips
- Executing a Professional Reservoir pH Adjustment Routine: Because organic solutions interact naturally with living chemistry, you must follow a careful dosing protocol to prevent over-adjusting your water tanks. Always mix your organic base nutrients, biostimulants, and compost teas thoroughly into your water reservoir *before* testing or adjusting your pH, as many natural extracts are naturally acidic and will pull your numbers down on their own. Once your nutrient mix is fully dissolved, take an accurate reading with a freshly calibrated pH pen. If the number falls below your target range, dilute a small amount of Professor's Nutrients Organic pH Up into a cup of fresh water first, then pour the diluted mixture slowly into your reservoir near an active mixing pump. Let the tank stir completely for 5 to 10 minutes before taking another reading, adjusting in small increments to reach a perfect balance.
- Root-Zone Hydration and Substrate Coordination: Keeping your irrigation tanks perfectly balanced within an optimal pH range ensures your automated systems deliver stable nutritional profiles, protecting your root zones from severe acid-induced shock. For optimal root health, accelerated nutrient absorption, and uncompromised drainage, route your perfectly verified fertiliser recipes into a high-porosity 70/30 blend of Coco Coir and Horticultural Perlite. To ensure completely uniform irrigation delivery across your entire layout, pressurize your feed lines using a heavy-duty Plont PPH Submersible Pump managed by an automated digital shot-timer.
- The Buffer Equation: Why Quality Natural Adjusters Outperform Raw Alternates: Using raw, un-stabilised home remedies to adjust organic reservoirs often leads to massive pH spikes and subsequent tank crashes within 24 hours. Professor's Nutrients Organic pH Up offers a balanced chemical leverage, altering water parameters with tiny doses. This creates a highly stable, long-lasting chemical balance that keeps your water rock-solid over multi-day feeding schedules, preventing constant manual re-adjustments.
- Handling Safety and Storage Best Practices: Even though this fluid is formulated from organic sources, it remains a highly concentrated alkaline modifier that must be handled with appropriate care. Technicians should always wear chemical-resistant gloves and protective eyewear when measuring or pouring this concentrate. Never store this fluid in direct sunlight or un-insulated rooms; keep the bottle upright in a cool, dry chemical cabinet locked between 15°C and 25°C. Always secure the cap tightly immediately after use to prevent the solution from drawing air moisture, which can slowly alter its chemical strength over time.
Ideal For (Uses)
- Pure Organic and Living Soil Ecosystems: The definitive alkaline modifier choice for large-scale agricultural facilities looking to safely raise the pH of active water holdings without using harsh mineral chemicals.
- Automated Fertigation Loop Buffering: Ideal for technical cultivation teams who need a premium, residue-free liquid concentrate to fill the alkali tanks of automated inline dosing equipment.
- Sensitive Crop Lifecycle Tuning: An exceptional component selection for heavy-feeding crops, delicate leafy greens, and medical plants that require a clean, sodium-free source of alkalinity to support aggressive growth.

Oversized Item Delivery Options
Oversized, heavy, and structural goods ship via specialist freight. Freight is calculated at checkout from estimated packaged volumetric or physical weight. Carrier depot audits may adjust the rate — if the increase exceeds 10%, we will contact you before processing.
Available options include:
✔ Delivery to your closest depot for pickup — default method
✔ Direct delivery — requires an operational forklift on site unless Tailgate Delivery has been specifically requested and quoted (contact us — this cannot be selected at checkout)
✔ Tailgate hydraulic lift delivery — must be specifically requested; contact us for a quote (not available as a checkout option; extra fees apply; required if you do not have a forklift)
✔ Forklift loading at our warehouse (no extra charge if you arrange your own freight)

Important Notes:
- Shipping costs vary by location and method
- Any carton or consignment over 25–30kg (or over 200cm) must be palletised
- Without a specifically requested and paid Tailgate Delivery quote, palletised freight requires a forklift on site — otherwise the carrier will redirect to the nearest depot

- Failed deliveries, locked gates, unattended sites, or incorrect business/forklift declarations may incur carrier redelivery, demurrage, and restocking fees as set out in our Terms & Conditions
Business Delivery:
- Selecting a business/commercial delivery rate warrants that the address has an operational forklift and certified operator during business hours
- If the carrier cannot unload, the consignment may be redirected to a depot and secondary fees may apply
- Additional fees may apply for failed delivery attempts due to lack of appropriate unloading equipment
See our Terms & Conditions (Article 8) for full freight and delivery rules.
Important Note on Availability & Shipping
Our warehouse is a logistics hub, not a retail showroom. Listing a product online does not mean it is stored at our Thomastown warehouse — many lines ship from supplier hubs (split fulfilment may apply).
How lead times work:
- Product page ETA: The Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) / lead-time badge shown on the product page at checkout is the agreed delivery timeframe for that order under Australian Consumer Law.
- Metro baselines: Advertised ETAs apply to standard metropolitan zones. Regional and remote addresses may take longer and may attract surcharges.
- Peak seasons: Orders in March–May, August–October, EOFY (June), Black Friday/Cyber Monday (November), and Christmas/New Year (December–January) may automatically add a 2–4 week buffer beyond the product page ETA.
- Supplier-dependent / backordered items: If stock is delayed, we will notify you with a revised ETA. You then have 7 days to accept the new timeframe or cancel for a full refund.
- Adloheat: Custom-made products from Adloheat (Pakenham, VIC) may take 4–12 weeks depending on the order.
Full fulfilment, cancellation, and freight rules are in our Terms & Conditions.
