SeaHawk - 55W High-Output T5 Replacement Lamp – 6000K Daylight Spectrum Linear Fluorescent Nursery Bulb
Renew your facility’s photosynthetic photon delivery, eliminate late-season crop stretching, and keep your propagation racks operating at maximum efficiency with the SeaHawk 55W High-Output T5 Replacement Lamp. Custom-engineered as the exact structural and spectral replacement bulb for the industrial-grade SeaHawk Star Light 2x55W and 4x55W fixtures, this commercial-grade linear fluorescent lamp is manufactured to demanding horticultural tolerances. Standard consumer-grade fluorescent tubes suffer from rapid lumen depreciation and severe spectral shifting within just a few months of heavy use, resulting in sluggish root development, weak stem tissue, and uneven canopy growth. The SeaHawk replacement lamp solves this operational challenge by utilizing premium internal phosphors and high-purity glass tubing designed to maintain exceptional spectral stability and high-intensity output over thousands of continuous run-time hours. Shifting your canopy into high gear, this bulb projects a crisp, high-intensity 6000 Kelvin daylight spectrum that perfectly mimics the bright, energy-packed blue wavelengths of natural spring sunlight. This targeted blue-dominant waveband triggers immediate structural plant responses, prompting young seedlings, fresh clones, and mother plants to develop ultra-thick stems, exceptionally tight internodal node stacking, and highly developed lateral branching. Built with heavy-duty contact terminals that slip smoothly and lock securely into standard high-output T5 sockets, this lamp runs cool and steady, allowing you to bring your fixtures close to fragile young leaves without risking thermal stress or leaf scorch. By performing scheduled bulb changes with this high-lumen-per-watt replacement lamp, commercial facility managers and boutique growers alike can ensure their propagation lines deliver uniform, high-success results cycle after cycle.
Best For: Routine seasonal bulb maintenance in SeaHawk Star Light fixtures, restoring degraded vegetative light spectrums, accelerating early root and shoot growth, and outfitting high-density vertical propagation shelves.
Key Features & Technical Advancements
- 6000K Blue-Dominant Spring Daylight Spectrum: Floods your benches with a crisp, cool daylight profile that suppresses stem elongation, encouraging short, stocky, and highly resilient vegetative growth.
- High-Lumen-per-Watt Energy Matrix: Engineered with high-efficiency horticultural gas mixtures that maximize active photon output while keeping your facility’s electrical utility draw to a minimum.
- Low-Thermal Close Proximity Operation: Generates exceptionally low radiant heat, enabling you to hang your light bars right down over delicate seedling flats and high-humidity propagation domes.
- Heavy-Duty High-Output Pin Terminals: Outfitted with standard, precision-aligned structural pins that slide easily and seat firmly into all compatible high-output T5 linear sockets.
- Industrial-Grade Phosphor Coating: Utilizes high-purity interior phosphors that resist degradation over extended lighting schedules, ensuring reliable color stability and stable light delivery over time.
- Universal Star Light Series Integration: Designed as the direct drop-in replacement bulb for both the 2-lamp (110W) and 4-lamp (220W) SeaHawk Star Light canopy systems.

Advanced T5 Canopy Management & Substrate Control Tips
- Managing Hang Heights with Fresh Replacement Tubes: Brand-new high-output T5 lamps deliver their highest concentrated photon volume during their first 100 hours of active burn time. When refreshing your SeaHawk Star Light hoods with brand new bulbs, consider raising the fixture slightly to 25cm to 30cm above your delicate young plants or humidity domes. After a short break-in period, drop the hood down to its standard operational height of 15cm to 20cm from the canopy to lock in intense, tight internodal stacking.
- Root-Zone Hydration and Substrate Coordination: Introducing a fresh, high-intensity 6000K daylight spectrum sharply boosts chlorophyll absorption, which drives fast plant transpiration and active root cell growth. Support this early vigor by setting your clones or seedlings in specialized starter plugs or breathable fabric nursery pots filled with a light, highly porous 70/30 blend of Coco Coir and Horticultural Perlite. Ensure your wet-dry irrigation cycles stay flawlessly uniform by feeding your trays with a high-pressure Plont PPH Submersible Pump managed by an automated digital shot-timer.
- Executing Scheduled Rotations for Batch Uniformity: For peak commercial efficiency, do not wait for your fluorescent tubes to fail completely before replacing them. Swap out your lamps every 10 to 12 months of constant operation. Over time, the internal phosphors naturally drop in intensity; performing routine, facility-wide bulb swaps ensures that your nursery shelves receive consistent, uncompromised light levels from batch to batch, preventing uneven growth rows.
- Safe Bulb Seating and Drip Loop Wiring Protocols: When clicking your fresh linear lamps into place, always hold the glass tubes using clean, dry hands or protective gloves to keep skin oils off the surface, which can cause micro-hotspots and shorten bulb life. At the same time, inspect your power cords and make sure the heavy-duty 2-meter utility cable drops into a loose, shallow U-shape bend right before it reaches the wall plug. This forms a natural "drip loop"—any ambient room moisture or stray spray from cloning domes will pool safely at the bottom of the bend and drip to the floor rather than running directly into active electrical connections.
Ideal For (Uses)
- SeaHawk Star Light Reflector Servicing: The ultimate direct replacement option for commercial growers running Star Light 2x55 or 4x55 hoods who need to restore their system back to original factory-spec intensity.
- High-Density Plant Cloning & Propagation: Perfect for indoor nurseries that require reliable, high-output blue light to root delicate cuttings quickly and smoothly under high-humidity domes.
- Vegetative Root & Shoot Development: An exceptional lamp choice for vertical multi-tier shelving setups and leafy green microgreen farms that depend on crisp 6000K daylight to grow uniform, stocky, and vibrant young crops.

Important Note on Availability & Shipping
Our warehouse serves as our office and logistics centre rather than a retail showroom. Because we ship from multiple locations and manage high-turnover stock, not all items are available for immediate pickup.
Lead Times:
- In-Stock Items: Usually ready for dispatch the same day.
- Supplier-Dependent Items: Usually take 2–8 weeks to arrive, depending on supplier availability. Products from Adloheat may take 8–12 weeks to manufacture—they are made to order in Australia by a small business, and longer lead times reflect the care put into quality.
While we strive for fast delivery, some timelines are subject to supplier availability and are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience as we source the best quality gear for your project.
Biosecurity & Interstate Shipping Restrictions
Due to strict state biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship some products to certain states and territories:
- Potting Mixes cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA), the Northern Territory (NT), or Tasmania (TAS).
- Seeds cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA).
Orders placed for these items to restricted states will be cancelled and refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items being ordered can lawfully be delivered to their state or territory.
