Treegers - GB15W LED Grow Bulb – Compact Full-Spectrum E27 Spot Matrix
Bring targeted horticultural photon power directly to localized plant spaces with the Treegers GB15W LED Grow Bulb. Engineered to twist effortlessly into standard residential and commercial E27 lamp bases, this ultra-compact, commercial-grade grow bulb is an ideal solution for small-scale cultivation, cloning, and targeted over-canopy lighting. Consuming a lean 15W of wall power while putting out a strong 30 µmol/s PPF and 1600 lumens of light, the GB15W maximizes electrical efficiency for space-conscious indoor gardeners. It features a tight 60° light distribution profile that acts like a spotlight, driving intense photon penetration down into your plant canopy without letting valuable energy escape out the sides. Built into a lightweight 150-gram chassis with fanless passive aluminum cooling, it operates silently while eliminating mechanical moving-part failures. With its IP44 splash-proof protection rating, this reliable plug-and-play bulb is perfect for maintaining clones, overwintering exotics, or boosting lower canopy growth zones.
Best For: Individual micro-grow spaces, maintaining fresh clones and tissue cultures, supplemental lower-canopy side lighting, overwintering delicate house plants, and targeted spot-lighting for indoor vertical herb gardens.
Key Features & Technical Advancements
- Universal E27 Screw Base Integration: Built with a standard E27 screw base, allowing you to quickly upgrade standard domestic desk lamps, flexible goosenecks, or commercial hanging sockets into high-performance growing stations.
- Targeted 60° Directional Optics: Designed with a focused 60° beam angle that concentrates the light footprint directly downward. This maximizes center light intensity and depth penetration, ensuring lower leaves receive usable growing energy.
- Full-Spectrum GB4800K Engine: Emits a crisp, natural white light with a high 92+ CRI (Color Rendering Index) that makes it easy to visually inspect leaves for pests or deficiencies. The 4800K color temperature delivers a balanced blue-to-red ratio that keeps node stacking exceptionally tight.
- Ultra-Compact Passive Thermal Control: Utilizes an optimized aluminum heat-sink body to dissipate heat away from the core diodes naturally. This fanless setup ensures silent operation and prevents dust buildup over long-term cycles.
- High Efficiency & Power Regulation: Features a high power factor of over 90 and an ERP A++ energy efficiency rating. This high-grade internal driver handles dirty grid power smoothly while drawing minimal wattage.
- IP44 Moisture Protection Guard: Offers certified protection against dust entry and water splashes from any direction, making it safe to use around active hand-watering setups or inside humid propagation tents.

Advanced Crop Steering & Environmental Optimization Tips
- Hanging Height & Footprint Management: Due to the tight 60° directional beam angle, hanging height will dictate your light intensity footprint. For rooting clones and young seedlings, keep the bulb 30-45cm above the plant canopy to prevent light stress. For flowering ornamentals or high-light herbs, lower the bulb to 20-25cm to maximize photon penetration.
- Root-Zone Substrate Coordination: Keep your small-scale root environments breathing perfectly under the GB4800K full spectrum. Plant your crops in small aeration fabric pots filled with a premium, porous 70/30 mix of Coco Coir and Horticultural Perlite. To automate small grow spaces, feed your plants using micro-drip emitters hooked up to a high-pressure Plont PPH Submersible Pump on a digital cyclical timer.
- Handling Heat in Enclosed Spaces: Although passive aluminum cooling keeps the bulb body highly efficient, installing multiple GB15W bulbs inside a closed cabinet or tight closet can cause ambient heat to accumulate. Keep fresh air circulating by running a small, quiet USB intake fan or an active carbon exhaust fan to prevent stagnant heat pockets from stressing your leaves.
- IP44 Maintenance Safeguards: The IP44 rating shields the bulb from ambient humidity and minor splashing. However, you should avoid spraying water or liquid nutrients directly onto the lens. Between crop cycles, simply turn off the power, let the aluminum shell cool down, and wipe the glass face with a clean, dry microfiber cloth to keep dust from blocking your light output.
Ideal For (Uses)
- Compact Desktop & Shelf Micro-Grows: The perfect lighting solution for indoor kitchen herb gardens, small shelf systems, and space-conscious counter setups where a full-sized multi-bar fixture will not fit.
- Dedicated Clonal & Propagation Racks: A fantastic option for nursery managers who want to hang targeted, low-wattage E27 spotlight lines over fresh cuttings, tissue cultures, and early rooting plugs.
- Supplemental Interior Canopy Boost: Ideal for commercial growers looking to place single screw-in bulbs into dark lower-canopy blind spots, ensuring lower branch sites get enough light to maximize overall yields.
Oversized Item Delivery Options
Since oversized items require special handling, we may need to provide a custom freight quote for your order and will contact you with an updated shipping rate.
Available options include:
✔ Delivery to your closest depot for pickup - default method
✔ Direct delivery - requires forklift on site
✔ Direct delivery with tailgate lift truck (extra fees apply)
✔ Forklift loading at our warehouse (no extra charge if you arrange your own freight)

Important Note on Availability & Shipping
Our warehouse serves as our office and logistics centre rather than a retail showroom. Because we ship from multiple locations and manage high-turnover stock, not all items are available for immediate pickup.
Lead Times:
- In-Stock Items: Usually ready for dispatch the same day.
- Supplier-Dependent Items: Usually take 2–8 weeks to arrive, depending on supplier availability. Products from Adloheat may take 8–12 weeks to manufacture—they are made to order in Australia by a small business, and longer lead times reflect the care put into quality.
While we strive for fast delivery, some timelines are subject to supplier availability and are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience as we source the best quality gear for your project.
Biosecurity & Interstate Shipping Restrictions
Due to strict state biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship some products to certain states and territories:
- Potting Mixes cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA), the Northern Territory (NT), or Tasmania (TAS).
- Seeds cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA).
Orders placed for these items to restricted states will be cancelled and refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items being ordered can lawfully be delivered to their state or territory.
