Treegers - GL1000W+ Commercial Driver 3-Meter Remote Extension Kit – Low-Loss Power & Dimming Link

Maximize your indoor cultivation workspace and optimize thermal management with the Treegers GL1000W+ Driver Extension Kit. Specifically engineered to handle the massive current demands of heavy-duty commercial 1000W+ LED grow light systems, this professional-tier integration kit consists of three heavy-gauge cables, each spanning a generous 3 meters in length. When running high-performance fixtures, mounting the heavy power drivers directly on top of the lighting chassis can create a severe heat pocket right above the plant canopy, driving up cooling costs and shortening the lifespan of sensitive electronic components. The GL1000W+ Extension Kit solves this operational challenge by allowing you to break away the driver and mount it remotely up to 3 meters away—whether outside your grow tent, on a centralized corridor wall panel, or on a dedicated equipment rack. Featuring two high-capacity power lines and an isolated, shielded dimming signal command cable, this heavy-duty assembly ensures flawless operation and perfect dimming synchronization with zero measurable power drop or voltage loss.

Best For: Remote driver mounting configurations, lowering ambient crop canopy temperatures, maximizing overhead vertical clearance, stabilizing multi-bar LED thermal loads, and protecting sensitive commercial grow light circuits.

Key Features & Technical Advancements

  • Zero-Loss Remote Performance: Engineered with ultra-low-resistance copper conductors that allow you to locate your high-wattage power drivers up to 3 meters away from the fixture with zero power drop or voltage loss.
  • Complete 3-Cable Architecture: Includes a matching 3-meter system array: two high-current primary power transfer cables to deliver rock-solid wattage, and one dedicated low-voltage dimming line for clean control signal delivery.
  • Advanced Structural Thermal Offloading: Moving heavy, heat-generating 1000W+ drivers off the aluminum lighting chassis drops ambient canopy temperatures, reducing your air conditioning loads and helping you maintain perfect vapor pressure deficit (VPD) targets.
  • Industrial Ingress Protection: Outfitted with heavy-duty, weather-sealed quick-connect joints that lock tightly against dust, high humidity, and overhead foliar spray drifts common in modern cultivation spaces.
  • Shielded Signal Interference Defense: The dedicated dimming command cable features internal shielding to block electromagnetic interference (EMI) from nearby ballasts or fans, keeping your automated lighting curves perfectly steady.
  • High-Flexibility Heavy Insulation: Encased in an industrial-grade, thick PVC protective sheathing that resists kinking, oil, and moisture, making it incredibly easy to route cleanly along your ceiling unistrut grids or structural frame channels.

Advanced Crop Steering & Environmental Optimization Tips

  • Managing Micro-Climates and VPD Balance: Leaving heavy 1000W+ drivers sitting directly on top of your lights can radiate an intense radiant heat load straight down onto the top leaf layers. Moving your drivers outside the growing area drops your ambient canopy temperature. This lower temperature makes it much easier to balance your relative humidity and hit your target Vapor Pressure Deficit (VPD) sweet spots for faster plant development.
  • Root-Zone Hydration and Metabolic Synchronicity: Lowering heat stress under high-intensity light levels allows your plants to photosynthesize at peak efficiency. Keep up with this fast growth by potting your plants in breathable fabric aeration pots filled with a porous 70/30 blend of Coco Coir and Horticultural Perlite. Ensure your feeding cycles stay flawlessly consistent by hooking your micro-drip emitters to a high-pressure Plont PPH Submersible Pump run on an automated digital shot-timer.
  • Optimizing Overhead Space in Vertical Racks: In tight multi-tier vertical racks or low-ceiling grow tents, every single inch of vertical space is incredibly valuable. Moving the thick power drivers to a remote wall rack lets you mount your LED fixtures completely flat against the ceiling. This gives your plants extra room to grow before they risk getting too close to the light bars.
  • Securing Strain Relief and Connection Points: When routing your 3-meter cables along your facility's ceiling grid or framework, make sure you do not pull the lines completely tight. Leave a small amount of slack at both ends to create a natural drip loop. This simple safety practice keeps any condensation or foliar spray droplets from running along the wire and seeping straight into the electrical connection plugs.

Ideal For (Uses)

  • Commercial Multi-Tier Facilities: An essential integration kit for large-scale facility managers who want to mount all their heavy power drivers on a single centralized corridor wall, keeping heat and electrical maintenance outside the clean grow bays.
  • Low-Ceiling Grow Tents: Perfect for indoor craft cultivators looking to maximize their vertical growing height and keep their ambient room temperatures down by removing the driver's heavy thermal load from the tent entirely.
  • High-Humidity Cultivation Rooms: Ideal for facility setups using automated misting tables or regular foliar spray applications, allowing you to locate your primary electrical drivers safely outside the high-humidity zone.
Oversize Item Delivery

Oversized Item Delivery Options

Oversized, heavy, and structural goods ship via specialist freight. Freight is calculated at checkout from estimated packaged volumetric or physical weight. Carrier depot audits may adjust the rate — if the increase exceeds 10%, we will contact you before processing.

Available options include:

✔ Delivery to your closest depot for pickup — default method
✔ Direct delivery — requires an operational forklift on site unless Tailgate Delivery has been specifically requested and quoted (contact us — this cannot be selected at checkout)
✔ Tailgate hydraulic lift delivery — must be specifically requested; contact us for a quote (not available as a checkout option; extra fees apply; required if you do not have a forklift)
✔ Forklift loading at our warehouse (no extra charge if you arrange your own freight)
✔ Direct truck delivery (available in Victoria)

Important Notes:

  • Shipping costs vary by location and method
  • Any carton or consignment over 25–30kg (or over 200cm) must be palletised
  • Without a specifically requested and paid Tailgate Delivery quote, palletised freight requires a forklift on site — otherwise the carrier will redirect to the nearest depot
  • Bulky and oversized items cannot be delivered to a PO Box — provide a physical street address
  • Failed deliveries, locked gates, unattended sites, or incorrect business/forklift declarations may incur carrier redelivery, demurrage, and restocking fees as set out in our Terms & Conditions

Business Delivery:

  • Selecting a business/commercial delivery rate warrants that the address has an operational forklift and certified operator during business hours
  • If the carrier cannot unload, the consignment may be redirected to a depot and secondary fees may apply
  • Additional fees may apply for failed delivery attempts due to lack of appropriate unloading equipment

See our Terms & Conditions (Article 8) for full freight and delivery rules.

Shipping & Lead Times

Important Note on Availability & Shipping

Our warehouse is a logistics hub, not a retail showroom. Listing a product online does not mean it is stored at our Thomastown warehouse — many lines ship from supplier hubs (split fulfilment may apply).

How lead times work:

  • Product page ETA: The Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) / lead-time badge shown on the product page at checkout is the agreed delivery timeframe for that order under Australian Consumer Law.
  • Metro baselines: Advertised ETAs apply to standard metropolitan zones. Regional and remote addresses may take longer and may attract surcharges.
  • Peak seasons: Orders in March–May, August–October, EOFY (June), Black Friday/Cyber Monday (November), and Christmas/New Year (December–January) may automatically add a 2–4 week buffer beyond the product page ETA.
  • Supplier-dependent / backordered items: If stock is delayed, we will notify you with a revised ETA. You then have 7 days to accept the new timeframe or cancel for a full refund.
  • Adloheat: Custom-made products from Adloheat (Pakenham, VIC) may take 4–12 weeks depending on the order.

Full fulfilment, cancellation, and freight rules are in our Terms & Conditions.

Biosecurity & Interstate Shipping Restrictions

Due to strict state biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship some products to certain states and territories:

  • Potting Mixes cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA), the Northern Territory (NT), or Tasmania (TAS).
  • Seeds cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA).

Orders placed for these items to restricted states will be cancelled and refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items being ordered can lawfully be delivered to their state or territory.
