ULight - 100W Intercanopy Full-Spectrum LED – High-Efficiency Commercial Series Linkable Canopy Module
Engineered specifically for the high-density requirements of modern commercial greenhouses and vertical indoor farms, the ULight 100W Intercanopy LED redefines how photons are delivered to lower crop layers. Traditional top-down lighting arrays suffer massive light loss through upper fan leaves, resulting in under-developed lower bud sites and loose larf. This purpose-built intercanopy module is designed to slide directly into the plant rows, casting high-intensity illumination laterally at an ultra-wide 150-degree beam angle to saturate under-canopy tissue. Built for heavy commercial scaling, its standout engineering advancement is a robust daisy-chain architecture that allows you to link up to 18 fixtures in series off a single master power lead, dramatically reducing installation costs, complex cable drops, and electrical junction boxes. Housing 270 premium Samsung micro-diodes within a rugged, moisture-sealed IP65 waterproof housing, it delivers a total output of 290 µmol/s of Photosynthetic Photon Flux (PPF) at an exceptional system efficacy of 2.9 µmol/J. Balanced on a deeply penetrating 3350K full-spectrum white base, this versatile fixture features full manual step-dimming and 0-10V automated master control interface, offering commercial cultivators ultimate crop steering precision within the heart of their living canopies.
Best For: High-density commercial greenhouse rows, high-wire vine crops (tomatoes, cucumbers), large-scale indoor inter-canopy layering, daisy-chained multi-fixture vertical rows, and supplemental low-clearance side-lighting.
Key Features & Technical Advancements
- 18-Fixture Commercial Series Linking: Features a high-capacity pass-through power system that allows up to 18 separate 100W lights to be daisy-chained together in series using just one power input cord, cutting installation labor and outlet infrastructure costs down significantly.
- Ultra-Wide 150° Beam Optical Profile: Engineered with custom optical lenses that throw a broad, uniform 150-degree sweep of lateral light, fully saturating internal node layers and preventing localized leaf burning or intense hot spots.
- Premium Samsung 270-Diode Matrix: Loaded with 270 highly efficient, top-tier Samsung micro-diodes that maximize electrical-to-photon conversion, hitting a top-tier system efficacy of 2.9 µmol/J.
- 3350K Deep-Penetrating Full Spectrum: Formulated with a balanced 3350K spectrum that mimics natural autumn sunlight, delivering the precise mix of blue photons for structural health and red wavelengths to stimulate aggressive floral development.
- Omnidirectional Versatile Mounting: Built with an adaptable heavy-duty structural housing that can be safely mounted in any orientation—horizontally beneath shelves, vertically along walls, or hung inline between plant rows.
- Industrial IP65 Environmental Protection: Fully dustproof and waterproof, this solid-state fixture easily withstands active overhead misting systems, high-pressure foliar applications, and high-humidity microclimates found inside dense plant canopies.

Advanced Crop Steering & Environmental Optimization Tips
- Precision In-Row Positioning and Optical Steering: For commercial high-wire setups or dense canopy rows, mount the ULight 100W Intercanopy fixture directly inside the plant row, suspended between the stocks. Position the light 12 to 18 inches below your main overhead canopy line. Keep the fixture at 40% or 60% power during the first week of flower so inner fan leaves can adjust to direct light, then ramp up to 80% or 100% full power as flower clusters begin to stack. This method ensures lower bud sites receive the photon density they need to stay firm and dense.
- Root-Zone Hydration and Substrate Coordination: Direct intercanopy lighting dramatically speeds up your crops' transpiration and nutrient intake by activating leaves that are normally shaded. Keep up with this increased metabolic drive by potting your plants in breathable fabric aeration pots filled with a highly porous 70/30 blend of Coco Coir and Horticultural Perlite. Ensure your wet-dry irrigation cycles stay flawlessly consistent by connecting your drip lines to a high-pressure Plont PPH Submersible Pump managed by an automated digital shot-timer.
- Clean Routing for Series Data and Power: When daisy-chaining up to 18 fixtures in a single row, clean cable management is vital. Make sure your pass-through power lines are securely clicked into place and strain-relieved. If you are linking the 0-10V dimming wires along the same run to connect to a master environmental console, never wrap or zip-tie the low-voltage control data lines parallel to the main AC power wires. Cross your data and power cords at a clean 90-degree angle to block electromagnetic interference (EMI), keeping your automated dimming schedules smooth and free of flickering.
- Setting Up Safety Canopy Drip Loops: Because intercanopy fixtures sit right in the middle of sweating leaves, condensation and moisture runoff are constant factors. When stringing your series power cables from light to light, always leave a small drop of slack to create a natural "drip loop" right before the plug enters the fixture housing. Any moisture running down the line will travel to the bottom of the loop and drop safely onto the floor, instead of tracking straight into your electrical connections.
Ideal For (Uses)
- Commercial Greenhouse High-Wire Rows: The premier choice for large-scale commercial facilities growing high-wire vine crops like tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers, where deep lower-canopy light penetration is critical.
- Multi-Row Indoor Facility Intercanopy Grid: Perfect for indoor facility managers looking to pack plants closely together while completely eliminating lower-branch shaded zones and under-developed buds.
- Scalable Industrial Farm Layouts: Ideal for operations that want to minimize messy wiring, as the 18-light series linking lets you light extensive growing benches with minimal electrical drops.

Important Note on Availability & Shipping
Our warehouse serves as our office and logistics centre rather than a retail showroom. Because we ship from multiple locations and manage high-turnover stock, not all items are available for immediate pickup.
Lead Times:
- In-Stock Items: Usually ready for dispatch the same day.
- Supplier-Dependent Items: Usually take 2–8 weeks to arrive, depending on supplier availability. Products from Adloheat may take 8–12 weeks to manufacture—they are made to order in Australia by a small business, and longer lead times reflect the care put into quality.
While we strive for fast delivery, some timelines are subject to supplier availability and are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience as we source the best quality gear for your project.
Biosecurity & Interstate Shipping Restrictions
Due to strict state biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship some products to certain states and territories:
- Potting Mixes cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA), the Northern Territory (NT), or Tasmania (TAS).
- Seeds cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA).
Orders placed for these items to restricted states will be cancelled and refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items being ordered can lawfully be delivered to their state or territory.
