ULight - 3-Meter Heavy-Duty Remote Driver Extension Cable – Low-Loss High-Wattage Integration Link
Take absolute control over your facility's thermal footprint and optimize your lighting layouts with the ULight 3-Meter Heavy-Duty Remote Driver Extension Cable. Engineered specifically for high-power commercial cultivators, this professional-tier extension line allows you to unmount your primary power driver and relocate it up to 3 meters away from the LED fixture chassis. In heavy-duty cultivation spaces, leaving massive power drivers mounted directly on top of 680W or 1000W light fixtures traps an intense thermal load right above the delicate plant canopy. This drives up cooling demands and forces HVAC systems to work overtime. The ULight Extension Cable eliminates this systemic issue, allowing you to move your drivers completely outside your grow tent, mount them on centralized corridor wall panels, or group them on dedicated cooling racks. Built with heavy-gauge, ultra-low-resistance copper conductors, this heavy-duty cable handles extreme wattage loads with ease, ensuring seamless power delivery and zero measurable voltage or wattage drop across its entire 3-meter length.
Best For: Remote driver mounting configurations, minimizing ambient crop canopy temperatures, maximizing overhead vertical room clearance, stabilizing multi-bar LED heat signatures, and streamlining large-scale facility maintenance workflows.
Key Features & Technical Advancements
- Universal ULight Pro Series Compatibility: Purpose-built to handle the distinct power curves and structural loads of both the ULight 680W and ULight 1000W Pro LED lighting setups.
- Zero-Loss Remote Power Delivery: Thick, high-purity multi-strand copper cores deliver heavy electrical currents over a 3-meter distance with zero voltage drop or power degradation.
- Advanced Structural Thermal Offloading: Moving heat-generating drivers away from the aluminum lighting chassis drops room temperatures, helping you maintain perfect vapor pressure deficit (VPD) targets.
- Maximized Overhead Canopy Clearance: Removing the top-mounted driver thins out the fixture's profile, letting you mount your light bars closer to the ceiling for extra plant growth height.
- Industrial Ingress Protective Shielding: Encased in a heavy-duty, chemical-resistant PVC outer jacket that handles high-humidity grow environments, automated misting tables, and intensive foliar spray routines.
- Weather-Sealed Quick-Locking Joints: Outfitted with industrial-grade, tight-locking connect terminals that prevent accidental disconnects while locking out dust, moisture, and debris.

Advanced Crop Steering & Environmental Optimization Tips
- Managing Canopy VPD Microclimates: Leaving a hot driver on top of a 1000W LED fixture creates a stubborn layer of radiant heat right above your top flower layers. Moving your drivers outside the growing footprint reduces heat stress, making it much easier to fine-tune room humidity and hit precise Vapor Pressure Deficit (VPD) sweet spots for faster plant development.
- Root-Zone Hydration and Substrate Coordination: Keeping your canopy free of unnecessary heat stress lets your plants photosynthesize at peak speed. Support this active root-zone metabolism by potting crops in breathable fabric aeration pots filled with a porous 70/30 blend of Coco Coir and Horticultural Perlite. Ensure your feeding cycles stay perfectly consistent by hooking your micro-drip lines to a high-pressure Plont PPH Submersible Pump managed by an automated digital shot-timer.
- Optimizing Single-Tier and Multi-Tier Vertical Space: In tight vertical racks or low-ceiling grow tents, every single inch of vertical room is highly valuable. Mounting your drivers remotely lets you pull your LED fixtures flat against your ceiling grids or frame supports, giving your plants extra room to stretch safely without getting too close to the light bars.
- Creating Safety Drip Loops for Electrical Security: When routing your 3-meter cables along ceiling tracks or support frames, avoid pulling the lines completely taut. Leave a small amount of loose slack at both ends to form a natural "drip loop." If moisture condenses on the wire or foliar sprays hit the line, the water will run to the bottom of the loop and fall harmlessly to the floor, instead of seeping into your power connections.
Ideal For (Uses)
- Centralized Power Corridor Frameworks: The ultimate infrastructure choice for large commercial facility managers looking to stack all their heavy light drivers on a central wall outside the clean grow rooms for easier maintenance.
- Low-Clearance Grow Tents: An essential upgrade for craft indoor growers wanting to keep tent temperatures down by removing the driver's heavy thermal load from the enclosed space entirely.
- High-Output Multi-Bar Upgrades: Perfect for cultivators running ULight 680W or 1000W Pro fixtures who want to thin down their lighting profiles to build clean, organized, and professional grow bays.
Oversized Item Delivery Options
Oversized, heavy, and structural goods ship via specialist freight. Freight is calculated at checkout from estimated packaged volumetric or physical weight. Carrier depot audits may adjust the rate — if the increase exceeds 10%, we will contact you before processing.
Available options include:
✔ Delivery to your closest depot for pickup — default method
✔ Direct delivery — requires an operational forklift on site unless Tailgate Delivery has been specifically requested and quoted (contact us — this cannot be selected at checkout)
✔ Tailgate hydraulic lift delivery — must be specifically requested; contact us for a quote (not available as a checkout option; extra fees apply; required if you do not have a forklift)
✔ Forklift loading at our warehouse (no extra charge if you arrange your own freight)
✔ Direct truck delivery (available in Victoria)
Important Notes:
- Shipping costs vary by location and method
- Any carton or consignment over 25–30kg (or over 200cm) must be palletised
- Without a specifically requested and paid Tailgate Delivery quote, palletised freight requires a forklift on site — otherwise the carrier will redirect to the nearest depot
- Bulky and oversized items cannot be delivered to a PO Box — provide a physical street address
- Failed deliveries, locked gates, unattended sites, or incorrect business/forklift declarations may incur carrier redelivery, demurrage, and restocking fees as set out in our Terms & Conditions
Business Delivery:
- Selecting a business/commercial delivery rate warrants that the address has an operational forklift and certified operator during business hours
- If the carrier cannot unload, the consignment may be redirected to a depot and secondary fees may apply
- Additional fees may apply for failed delivery attempts due to lack of appropriate unloading equipment
See our Terms & Conditions (Article 8) for full freight and delivery rules.
Important Note on Availability & Shipping
Our warehouse is a logistics hub, not a retail showroom. Listing a product online does not mean it is stored at our Thomastown warehouse — many lines ship from supplier hubs (split fulfilment may apply).
How lead times work:
- Product page ETA: The Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) / lead-time badge shown on the product page at checkout is the agreed delivery timeframe for that order under Australian Consumer Law.
- Metro baselines: Advertised ETAs apply to standard metropolitan zones. Regional and remote addresses may take longer and may attract surcharges.
- Peak seasons: Orders in March–May, August–October, EOFY (June), Black Friday/Cyber Monday (November), and Christmas/New Year (December–January) may automatically add a 2–4 week buffer beyond the product page ETA.
- Supplier-dependent / backordered items: If stock is delayed, we will notify you with a revised ETA. You then have 7 days to accept the new timeframe or cancel for a full refund.
- Adloheat: Custom-made products from Adloheat (Pakenham, VIC) may take 4–12 weeks depending on the order.
Full fulfilment, cancellation, and freight rules are in our Terms & Conditions.
