ULight - Intercanopy Support Legs – Commercial Grade High-Wire Heavy-Duty Mounting Stands
Establish an immovable, perfectly aligned structural foundation within your cultivation rows using the ULight Intercanopy Support Legs. While hanging fixtures inline from overhead trusses works well for standard layouts, high-density commercial greenhouse rows and high-wire vine setups (like tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers) require absolute stabilization at the lower canopy line. If intercanopy lights swing freely, they can bruise delicate plant stalks, break fragile fruit clusters, or shift out of their optimal 150-degree light-dispersion path. These heavy-duty support legs solve that structural challenge by locking your ULight 100W Intercanopy LED bars firmly into a ground-supported or bench-mounted grid. Engineered from rugged, corrosion-resistant industrial alloys, these legs lift the fixtures cleanly off damp floors or gutter channels, keeping them safe from standing runoff water. Featuring an adaptable, omnidirectional mounting interface, they allow you to position your lighting bars at the exact height and angle your crop profile demands, ensuring reliable lateral photon delivery right where your plants need it most.
Best For: Ground-based greenhouse high-wire installations, stabilizing intercanopy bars in heavy-airflow indoor rooms, rock-solid bench-top mounting arrays, and preventing fixture sway in dense commercial crop rows.
Key Features & Technical Advancements
- Rigid Anti-Sway Plant Protection: Locks your intercanopy fixtures firmly into place, completely eliminating the swinging or swaying that can bruise delicate stalks, knock off heavy fruit clusters, or snap lateral branches.
- Corrosion-Resistant Industrial Coating: Forged from high-grade, rust-proof commercial alloys engineered to easily withstand continuous exposure to damp greenhouse floors, corrosive nutrient runoff, and aggressive room wipe-downs.
- Elevated Runoff Protection Clearance: Lifts your expensive LED bars cleanly off the ground or drainage gutters, keeping the fixture housing and its electrical connections safe from pooling water, mud, or moisture buildup.
- Omnidirectional Adaptable Angles: Built with a versatile structural mounting plate that lets you secure the legs in any orientation, allowing you to angle your light bars exactly toward the lower node layers.
- Heavy-Duty Weighted Base Engineering: Features a broad, stable footprint that distributes weight evenly across your floors or benches, preventing tip-overs even when working deep inside thick, tangled plant rows.
- Streamlined Space-Saving Design: Engineered with a slim, compact profile that fits easily between closely spaced pots or rockwool slabs without crowding your root zones or blocking narrow facility walkways.

Advanced Row Rigging & Substrate Management Tips
- Precision Alignment Across Extended Rows: When installing support legs along a long plant bench or greenhouse gutter, always use a string line or laser level before bolting down the mounts. Keeping your support legs perfectly inline ensures that your daisy-chained ULight LED bars sit completely straight, which maximizes the coverage of their 150-degree beam angle and takes all stress off the connecting electrical tails.
- Root-Zone Hydration and Substrate Coordination: Keeping your fixtures securely raised on support legs ensures that your bottom-up irrigation and drainage layouts stay completely clear and accessible. Give your plants precise, reliable feeding by potting them in breathable fabric aeration pots filled with a highly porous 70/30 blend of Coco Coir and Horticultural Perlite. Ensure your wet-dry irrigation cycles stay flawlessly consistent by connecting your drip lines to a high-pressure Plont PPH Submersible Pump managed by an automated digital shot-timer.
- Securing Power Leads and Dimmer Signal Lines to the Frame: Once your support legs are anchored and holding your intercanopy lights, use heavy-duty plastic clips or loose zip-ties to secure your cables along the leg frames. Never let heavy AC power leads or 0-10V dimming data wires dangle loosely near the ground where they can get soaked by runoff. Cross your data lines and power cords at a clean 90-degree angle to block electromagnetic interference (EMI), keeping your automated dimming schedules perfectly smooth.
- Setting Up Safety Electrical Drip Loops: Because support legs place your lights closer to the floor where runoff water and low-lying condensation are most active, cable safety is paramount. When routing your series wiring down the support leg frame to the fixture plugs, always leave a small drop of slack to create a natural "drip loop" right before the connection point. Any water traveling down the wire will pool at the bottom of the bend and drip safely to the floor instead of running straight into your electrical connections.
Ideal For (Uses)
- Greenhouse Floor Gutter Mounts: The absolute best choice for high-wire commercial vegetable facilities that need to anchor intercanopy lighting bars directly alongside floor-level growing gutters.
- High-Airflow Indoor Facility Rows: Perfect for indoor grow rooms running powerful under-bench or wall-mounted circulation fans, ensuring that strong airflow won't cause the lights to sway or slam into the plants.
- Multi-Level Rolling Bench Systems: An excellent option for automated facility managers looking to attach intercanopy light bars directly to rolling bench frames, keeping the lights perfectly positioned as the benches move.

Important Note on Availability & Shipping
Our warehouse serves as our office and logistics centre rather than a retail showroom. Because we ship from multiple locations and manage high-turnover stock, not all items are available for immediate pickup.
Lead Times:
- In-Stock Items: Usually ready for dispatch the same day.
- Supplier-Dependent Items: Usually take 2–8 weeks to arrive, depending on supplier availability. Products from Adloheat may take 8–12 weeks to manufacture—they are made to order in Australia by a small business, and longer lead times reflect the care put into quality.
While we strive for fast delivery, some timelines are subject to supplier availability and are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience as we source the best quality gear for your project.
Biosecurity & Interstate Shipping Restrictions
Due to strict state biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship some products to certain states and territories:
- Potting Mixes cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA), the Northern Territory (NT), or Tasmania (TAS).
- Seeds cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA).
Orders placed for these items to restricted states will be cancelled and refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items being ordered can lawfully be delivered to their state or territory.
