Description

Youngju Traditional Korean Grass Sickle - 22cm Hand-Forged Blade - Master Blacksmith's Clearing Tool

For tasks requiring precision and finesse—such as clearing grass around delicate perennials or harvesting low-growing herbs—a standard garden tool is often too clumsy. The Youngju Traditional Korean Grass Sickle is an heirloom-quality piece, hand-made by master blacksmith Seok No-Ki. Forged from recycled spring steel with a specialised, thin 2mm blade, it offers unparalleled sharpness and balance, making it the perfect tool for quickly and effortlessly clearing fine growth with a clean, low-to-the-ground cut.

Each sickle reflects over 50 years of dedication to the craft, ensuring a perfectly weighted tool that feels like a natural extension of the arm. The extended 40cm handle provides superior leverage for natural cutting motions, minimising strain on the back and wrist during extended periods of work. Whether you are a committed home gardener or a professional market gardener, this master-forged tool delivers a level of performance that only traditional blacksmithing can provide.

Shipping & Lead Times

Important Note on Availability & Shipping

Our warehouse serves as our office and logistics centre rather than a retail showroom. Because we ship from multiple locations and manage high-turnover stock, not all items are available for immediate pickup.

Lead Times:

  • In-Stock Items: Usually ready for dispatch the same day.
  • Supplier-Dependent Items: Usually take 2–8 weeks to arrive, depending on supplier availability. Products from Adloheat may take 8–12 weeks to manufacture—they are made to order in Australia by a small business, and longer lead times reflect the care put into quality.

While we strive for fast delivery, some timelines are subject to supplier availability and are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience as we source the best quality gear for your project.

Biosecurity & Interstate Shipping Restrictions

Due to strict state biosecurity regulations, we are unable to ship some products to certain states and territories:

  • Potting Mixes cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA), the Northern Territory (NT), or Tasmania (TAS).
  • Seeds cannot be shipped to Western Australia (WA).

Orders placed for these items to restricted states will be cancelled and refunded. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the items being ordered can lawfully be delivered to their state or territory.
